My room was smelling terrible. The guy at the reception was unkind. The toilets were dirty.

It is actually a hostel. We had one very little room after a lot of stairs with 3 simple beds. The pillow spells bad even the cover looks ok but broken. The duvet was 10kg weight...very uncomfortable night, luckily we only stay one night in order to catch the flight the next day. We had to pay 42 euros for a triple room, compare to the other hotel we stayed a few days before, 55 euros but much better beds, large room, TV, close to hero square and above all with private bathroom. This is defenitely far from its value.

Can-do staff, knows what you want before you've finished your sentence. I highly recommend this place.

A perfect hotel if you want money left to spend on other things than to sleep

The pension is quite "Spartan" but good if you do not need special treatment it could be a very good solution. Bathrooms are quite old but clean and the breakfast is good (despite the noisy and fastidious radio in background). The only problem is the furnitures in the room because if you have to stay for a week they are quite poor: only a little and poor wardrobe, no clothes stand or clothes hook, no chest of drawers, no bedside table... But don't worry: nothing tragic!

It was a hostel in my opinion, catering for young travellers, or on a tight budget. It was clean & warm. The beds were excruciatingly hard & uncomfortable. The area was scruffy & down market. Every noise permeated the walls & clientele was noisy.

The staff were a little pushy but I suppose that was to be expected really. The hotel was in a really dodgy part of town, full of prostitutes (who looked way too young!) And there were groups of blokes hanging around who made me feel quite intimidated. I was glad that my fellow travellers were male because if i had to walk back from town to the hotel by myself I'm pretty sure I would have been mugged or raped! Really scary to be honest and I've travelled a fair amount.

Basic, but comfortable rooms. Takes about 20 minutes to walk from Keleti Pu, the main rail station of Budapest. Located in a quiet neughborhood. Conveniently linked to the city center by bus. Bath and toilets are separated from the rooms, but the facility is ok.

This is an o.k. hostel for young travellers who look for a cheap room and don't expect much. Breakfast ist o.k., the quality of the bed was not, at least for people above 35, like us.

We had a very comfortable stay in dominik Panzió. Price is according to service. Very nice young man in reception. Breakfast allright. cleanlyness ok and each day new towels. Is located near the city Park of Budapest, which offers very nice sightseeings. No noise at all, quiet surroundings. We felt very good. Recommended Paprika Restaurant was excellent.

Unfortunately this is not the best quarter of Budapest and most of the former mansions are almost ruins now which need to be renovated. In the street homeless, drunk people are lying around in their sleeping-bags.
