Gold Hotel Pest is located in the classical green part of Budapest NEXT TO THE CENTRE BUT FAR FROM THE NOISE. The only CONVENTION CENTER (BNV) is within 15 min. drive. It takes 10 min. to the popular CITY PARK, where are famous MUSEUMS, the HEROE SQUARE with our past kings and the popular SZÉCHENYI THERMAL BATH. Here is all the fun for children and several surprises for adults (Zoo, Fun Park, Circus, boating...)! Some traditional vehicles are still on duty: first underground in Europe, trolley bus, trams. The hotel is easily accessible from M3 MOTORWAY, which leads to the HUNGARORING.
5 - 10 minutes: City Park (Sportcenter, Széchenyi Bath, Vajdahunyad Castle, museums, zoo, fun park, circus, boating, skating possibilities) Heroe's square, International Railway Stations, Shopping Centre, Metro lines.
10 - 15 minutes: Váci street, Basilica, Parliament, Margareth island, Opera house, Synagogue, Convention Centre.
15 - 20 minutes: Buda Castle, Citadel, Budapest Congress Centre, M1 and M7 Motorways, Gold Hotel Buda, Mass Fitness.
20 - 45 minutes: Ferihegy Airport, Hungaroring.

Very nice staff in a quiet hotel, easy to reach from the city center. Clean, good breakfast and comfortable beds. Just 20min. by foot from the metro or 10min. by bus, passing every 7min. untill +/- 23h00.

This was our first stay in Hotel Gold Hotel Panzió, if we would go back to Budapest we'd look foor a hotel closer to the city center.

The people at this hotel were so welcoming and the breakfast which was included was excellant. For some reason I was able to hear others in their room from my bathroom but since the hotel wasn't that busy I didn't have to contend with much noise. It is a little way from the city center but a short bus ride caught a few feet from the hotel took you right there. I would go back again especially now that I know their bus system :o)

Breakfast room was NOT full of crumbs on the floor and the cutlery was OK, but the breakfast was quite simple. And the breakfast room very little. NO AIR-CONDITIONER !! The hotel otherwise was quite nice.

Un po' distante dal centro, ma ottimamente collegato. Le stanza così e così, hanno la moquette e non danno l'idea di pulito. Portatevi sempre le lenzuola! Nella toilette nessun servizio, il sapone per le mani era servito in un dispener con l'etichetta mezza lavata via,sembrava quello dei piatti; niente sapni doccia o altro. Però nell'insieme un buon posto dove soggiornare a budapest, ottimo il parcheggio interno custodito.

The hotel is great value and a very pleasant "home away from home". My only complaint is the distance from shopping, dining and attractions. I feel that is not made clear enough on the website.

Located far from the noises,but close to the centre. Very good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only 15 minutes from kossuth lajos by bus!!!!!!!
