We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It was very close to the train station which is great when traveling with heavy bags/you need to leave early in the morning. The staff were warm, informative and willing to go the extra mile to make our stay perfect. I would go back to this hotel and recommend this hotel to others.

Good hotel and well located, I would recommend this hotel with one reservation. The price quoted was in Euros yet the account is settled in Ck converted at a rate favourable to hotel. I feel that nthey should even charge in Euros or quote prices in Ck. I have no other criticsm

This is very nice hotel we stayed with friends for 1 night. I would say the price is very very cheap as compared to the rooms and quality. The bed is cozy and rooms are spacious. Bathroom is damn good with tub. The only thing I didn't like is that there was no complimentary water bottle provided by the hotel.

I was in stunning Prague for 4 days. The hotel is practically one block from the central station and only 15 minutes easy walk from the main square. The surrounding of the hotel is not great but it's not dangerous either. When I made the reservation I asked for a room facing the backyard. The hotel not only gave me that, they also gave me a very spacious room! The staff are helpful and the breakfast is good. They have 2 computers for guests to use. Overall, I think it's a great hotel and I definitely recommend it.

The hotel is fine but the surroundings are not too attractive. In walking distance to the tourist area though. Rooms on the first floor are to be avoided as this is basically the basement level (with windows on the street level). Good breakfast.

This is a very clean hotel located close to the Main Train Station in Prague. As well it is within easy walking distance of the old Market itself. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the complimentary breakfast had a great selection which was a good way to start the day. The only negative is the hotel is located beside a busy highway, and depending on your room location, could have the din of constant traffic. As for us traveling with two small children the room was very spacious and priced very reasonably. We would not hesitate to use this hotel again.

I am disabled, a wheelchair user. The entrance had a lot of steps. I entered through the back door in the garage. In addition there was a three-step staircase. The staff quickly put me slope. But from inside the hotel is very comfortable for wheelchair users.

We stayed at five different hotels in four European countries and this was by far our favorite! Location was perfect! We walked to everything we wanted to do. There was an ATM around the corner and the staff was very helpful. There was free internet access in the lobby as well as a magnificant complimentary breakfast every morning. The room was very large for a European hotel as was the bathroom. I LOVED this hotel! Taxis in Prague are crooks! Call the hotel and make use of their very affordable (cheaper than taxis) cars. They will pick you up! We paid double for our stupid cab and tipped them! And whatever you do, don't exchange your money at the train station. Stay here!

We enjoyed staying in this hotel and we gladly return to it in the future. The only thing you need to take into account is that it's located 15 minutes walking from old town square and there is a bridge near the hotel, so you need to ask a rear room when you book a room.

The price/quality relation is fair. But since my opinion the hotel is not in the very best condition. Everything looks 10 years old. Furnitures, bathroom, walls, everything looks strongly used. Alltough the room was clean, but at this circumstances the impression of the room was not the very best. But at least we enjoyed our staying. The staff was frendly, the breakfast was correct, we slept well in our bed, and we enjoyed Prague very well. Alltogether it was a good trip. I can recommend the hotel, but for myself, if I had to travell to Prague again, I would book an other hotel just in hope to get a better one. And if I got just about the same quality, than I would be not very disappointed.

I stayed in a quadruple room with my family members. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our room was very spacious, well-equipped and with a very high ceiling too. The bathroom was also excellent which had everything we needed. The 4 beds in our room were different in size and quality but in general, the pictures of the room posted in front of the hotel were accurate. There were English and German channels in our TV. The view from our room was not much but we could easily walk to the main places of interest in Prague Zone 1. While we liked how internet access was free, there were only 2 computers and the internet connection was very slow. Some customers were also rather inconsiderate and hogged the computer even when others had obviously been waiting for some time. We suspected that the cleaner did not clean our room thoroughly anymore after the first day but still enjoyed our stay. There was a variety of food for breakfast every morning but it got boring after a few days. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to any sort of tourist, old or young or with children.

The staff is pretty helpful for tourist spots recommendation. I've booked a triple room and it's spacious enough for 3 of us. Old town and other tourist spots are within walking distance. The hotel surroundings may be a bit too quiet at night. But it won't be a problem if you don't return too late.

Hotel is well situated within about 5 mins walk of Wenceslas Square and then not far to the Old Town Square and Charles Bridge (and the torture museum - an absolute must!!). This made it an ideal base for exploring the city. The surrounding area is not great - situated near a busy overpass - but this didn't bother us at all. The staff were (mostly) really friendly, the rooms were immaculate and the bathrooms were stunning. Breakfast was ok - nothing to get excited about but not dreadful. The free web access in the guest lounge was a real bonus (although the seedy Italian business men looking for escorts - and I don't Ford - was a bit off putting). All in all, would highly recommend the hotel to anyone.

The best part is the service. The male staff members are all very very nice (especially the doorman guy). The breakfast and rooms are all lovely. The location is not perfect, but behind the hotel, there are lots of buses which can be used to get to the city centre. The worst part in the hotel is the outlook and the design of the lobby.

Clean, convenient and remarkable value for money. its not quaint or stylish, but in easy walking distance from town. near a flyover, but double glazing partly compensates. we were able to email in advance and request a twin not double room, and they orgainsed taxis to and from teh airport. would recommend for people on own, couples or two friends like us, probalby not for a big group of lads!

Great location for the price - the hotel is 10-15 minutes walking from the Old Town Square. We had a room facing the highway but we had no problems with the noise. My parents' room faced a courtyard and it was even quieter. The rooms were spacious and clean. Service was good and courteous, everyone spoke a little English. The only negative thing was that the view from our room was a highway, but as I said, the price and quality for being this close to the historical center can't be beaten. I would stay here again.

This is a nice business hotel, just between the Masaryk and Main (Hlavni) stations. The hotel is also ideal for visitors to the University of Economics (VSE). Very busy traffic on both sides of the hotel and the area is a bit seedy, but this goes with being a station-area hotel. I asked for a quieter room away from the street, got one facing the street, but it was surprisingly quiet. Free internet access was useful. There is a tram stop behind the hotel, but it is also possible to walk to the old town and then on the Charles Bridge.

Stayed here for our few nights in February while visiting Prague. We loved this hotel and found that it was an excellent price for the quality of the room. The room was spacious and clean, including the bathroom. We asked for a room in the courtyard because previous reviews had complained about the street noise, they complied with our request. We heard nothing but silence and slept with the window open. The location is excellent, just don't expect any nice views. Only a 5-10 min walk from the airport shuttle drop off. The down town square is only a 10-15 min. walk. It is by the train station which can seem sketchy but never once did we (2 females) feel uncomfortable. The service we had was friendly. The breakfast was just fine for us. Free internet access was great. Would definetly stay here without hesitation again and would recommend it to anyone.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The employees were warm, friendly, and efficent. The lobby and sitting area is lovely. They have two computers available in the lobby for email or doing searches. The breakfast buffet was very good. I missed brewed coffee in the morning but got used to the instant espresso quickly. The only downside was the location. The front of the hotel overlooks a main highway. So ask for a room in the rear to avoid listening to traffic. The rooms are comfortable and the bathroos are quite large. Bring your own wash cloth, as in many European hotels, they are not provided with the towels.

The hotel was as describes on the website, the room that we stayed in was exactly like the one in the photo. It is an excellent choice if you are arriving by train, as it is less than 5 min’s walk from the main train station. Also, the hotel is at less than 10 min's walk to the Powder Tower, where the Old Town begins. On the same street (Hybernskaia) we found a very nice restaurant, The Needle, with great food (try the spinach and salmon soup!!) and nice prices. Shopping areas are also close-by. I also must mention the breakfast at the hotel, which was excellent. They offered a wide choice of food, from scrambled eggs and bacon to 6 different kinds of cereals. The staff was very friendly and spoke excellent English. I got ill during my stay and they were very helpful providing some simple cold medicine at no charge. Both the room and the bathroom were very large, lots of mirrors and a safety deposit box. Even if the windows were facing the street, there was little noise. Next time in Prague I would choose the same hotel without hesitation and I will definitely recommend it to friends.

Very good choice for those who want to walk around the city which is really nice. Allthough the area around the hotel is not ideal, the position is convenient, it's only a few minutes from the center of the city. The breakfast was fine. It is preferable to pay cash for the room, because we've payed more euros via credit card. The staff was friendly but outside of the hotel, the Tchechs are a bit rude specially those who are employees in all sort of shops. Be aware of the areas around the bridges specialy during the night, since a lot of thieves are trying to come closer to you with "innocent" comments. They will try to empty your pockets within a minute!

The room lived up to the expectations and looked excactly like the pictures. The hotell was located nearby the main driveway, but this caused no majour noise, no problem with sleeping. Enthough the hotell was located close to the road, it was perfect distance to the centrum. Walking distance to every facilities, 15 minutes walk to the Charlesbridge. Breakfast was superb, plenty of food, hotfood aswell. Egg & bacon etc. Some dust in the cealing, but who cares! H. Rinnan

Ben tenuto, camera spaziosa, colazione ben assortita.

Everything about the hotel was great except you will most likely have trouble sleeping. Big rooms, big bath, best breakfast out of 9 hotels, location good not great. The big drawback is that the hotel and over one-half of the rooms are right next to (100ft) a major elevated expressway with all night car and truck traffic.

The decor is wonderful. The staff are friendly and obliging. All staff with whom we had contact were very well trained. The Hotel ids wonderfully sited to see the delights of Central Prague. About ten minutes walk from Wencelas Square, and the Old Town Square, Twenty Minutes from "Charles Bridge and the Jewish Quarter.

I was in single room on nonsmoking 12th floor, which was smaller than most with slanted ceiling and sealed skylight instead of windows. Room thus very quiet but tended to get a little warm since at top of building. Spacious bathroom and excellent breakfast help make up for lack of basic amenity such as facial tissue. Location adequate for sightseeing. Tip: Be very wary of crime in Prague. I was robbed at midday on platform at train station while boarding train to Germany.

Tulip Inn Prague Terminus is exactly what I was looking for in a place to stay in Prague. Although the hotel itself is not located in a central area (i.e. a town square or anything), it was only a short walk to nightlife/sightseeing, and basically anything you'd want to do in the city. Our room had an astonishingly clean and beautiful bathroom, was quiet, and as clean as any 5-star hotel I've stayed at before. I have no doubt in my mind that I will stay here for my next visit to Praha. Great hotel, UNREAL value for your money!!

Great old building, main lobby is very well restored. Room was ok but was a loft so the roof was low in parts. Helpful staff and central location with good proximity to restaurants, gym, sights and train station etc.

I chose the Tulip Inn because I needed to be in central Prague and it was the cheapest hotel of a reasonable quality fitting my criteria. It's a clean, pleasant hotel that has a guest use, high-speed computer terminal available. On the down side, my room was closet-like in size. Also, down the street from the Tulip Inn is a nightclub whose denizens were milling about the sidewalk in the morning as if they were under the influence of something. These people weren't threatening, but it underscored that the Tulip Inn is somewhat on the fringe of a very nice area and a less nice area. I would also note, as a general comment, that central Prague hotels are expensive across the board. Prague prices aren't London-like (yet), but they aren't wholly dissimilar, either.

What can we say but you could not have been made more welcome at the hotel. The staff were great the room was fantastic and you could not have faulted the cleanliness of the hotel and a welcome note on the tv was a great touch. It was a very cold period when we stayed there but we were so warm in the room. We did have a little walk to the centre but it was well worth the lovely walk. Never Judge a book by its cover the hotel may not look that fantastic from the outside but the inside was really lovely. Yes you are near the road but we never heard the traffic as the room had two layers of windows (not double glazed)there is a mini bar in room at good prices . The breakfast was fantastic there was anything you wanted and more, you could go back as many times as you wanted and still treated as if it was the first time you had been up. This was our 3rd time visiting Prague and this has been by far the best hotel we have stayed in, the price is just right. We would most definitley go back to this hotel again without a doubt.

A wonderful, clean, and beautiful room awaits you w/internet access and only a 10 min walk to the main streets of town. Clean and comfortable hotel, helpful staff. Good breakfast included. Located behind a railway station which means that the area surrounding the hotel was slightly shabby, but this is compensated by that it is only a short walk along Hybernská (5-10 minutes) from the eastern end of the historical center, Powder Tower. Good value for money.

The room we were given was kind of below street level (we could see the sidewalk and people waling by). This bothered us at first but then was never a real difficulty. The room was was very spacious, clean and very comfortable. Staff was very helpful, specially in helping us book the proper tours and visits. If travelling by train, this is the place you want to stay (just be careful that some trains stop at the other Praha terminal which is across town - this hotel is 5 minutes walk from the largest Train station). We stayed for 2 days as part of our honeymoon trip.

Despite this snooty or just socially retarded MARTINE guy behind the desk that greeted us, the stay at the tulip was great. My girlfriend and I stayed for several days and the location and rest of the staff were exceptional. A very short walk (10 min) pretty much can get you anywhere, and facing the courtyard meant we did not hear any passing cars or anything. I would recommend the tulip to those that want to save a few bucks but still not need a metro to go anywhere.

The hotel was excellent, very clean, good location, about 5-10 mins from old town. The only thing that threw me was that they charged me in euro's so I was not sure it was the correct price. I would highly recommend.

Hotel Tulip staff are couteous the rooms are spacious and clean, breakfast is fine and there is enough choice to start your day.If you like your typhoo or so take your own and maybe larger cups will help, location 10mins from powder tower (good street plans free in hotel) tulip is near abusy main road to oneside only so there is double glazing to help with this problem all the othersides are quiet!..TIPS: Take the cedaz van from airport direct to hotel 480krs per 4passengers return via cedaz van pick point near hotel renaissance for only 90krs each to airport(approx 5 mins walk from tulip) visit terezin the fortress town (excursion) eat at Kozicka It is kind of steak house in the very nice decorated cellar just few metres from the Old Town Square reasonably priced and english and german menus and 300g steak was excellent.walk or tram is the best option to get around the city avoiding the metro and its pocket pics.ENJOY!

In general I found the staff to be helpful, pleasant and efficient. The rooms were comfortable and clean.I never ran out of hot water when bathing. The breakfast was average, but with little variety.I would recomend the hotel, but care should be taken if using the car service. As on one occasion the driver failed to deliver us to our correct destination and left us completely stranded at night in the freezing cold and caused us considerable distress as we missed our pre booked dinner cruise. The hotel did make ammends for this error and I would use them again.

THE SERVICE "CALL TAXI" WAS A BITTETR DISAPPOINTMENT TO US. THE TAXI PRICES WERE HIGHER WHEN THE TAXI SERVICE HAS BEEN ORDERED BY RECEPTION. WE NOTICED THAT CALLING TAXI OURSELVES WAS LESS EXPENSIVE (WE HAVE SPENT 60-70% LESS!!!).

A first class tourist hotel. We throughoughly enjoyed our stay - the only downside I can think is that its just a wee bit far from the centre, especially late at night for walking back. The beds were very comfy, the rooms were spacious & spotless. The breakfast was more than adequate start before a days sightseeing and the bar was always available whatever time you returned for a nightcap!! Others mention the main road/flyover as a downside - we never really noticed it - Prague is a city after all!!

I think the price is too expensive if compared the overall of services offered and the quality of the hotel. We have been a bit disappointed because of the beauty of the room, we thought it was better in bigness and in cleannes. The bed wasn't done and clean properly. Too expensive compared to what offered.

10 mins. walk from tip of the old town entrance (Powder tower/ state opera side) where all the action is. The walk from outside the old town to the hotel though can be a bit quiet at night, but it is safe. Took awhile for me to locate entrance of the hotel also as door is always shut(?), but this is the one facing the road. Once you open the door, it opens to a nice and cozzy lobby. My room was spacious for a single bed,and was very clean. It also has a safe deposit, aircondition, and cable tv. Although my room was at street level & near a flyover, I didn't feel it was noisy. Back of hotel is also a tram station that can take you into the old town area if you are lazy to walk. Breakfast was the best (lots of choices and abundant). I would certainly recommend the hotel.

When we showed up to the tulip inn after traveling for almost 24 hours, it was an extraordinary welcome to Prague. the room was gorgeous, and the traffic outside was almost impossible to hear. the breakfast was great and the location of the hotel is very close to old town square. we found some nice restaurants around the hotel as well. Prague was a beautiful city and our hotel was just as nice!

Tullip Inn was about a 10-minute walk to Powder Tower and the Old Town Square, though you had to walk past 2 sketchy blocks, and only about 5 minutes to main train station. Hotel was clean and nice, with very sufficient buffet breakfast. We arrived on overnight train to Prague at 5:45 AM, expecting to be able only to drop off bags and then wait around until check-in at 1. . . however, our room was available, and the front desk allowed us in then! what a godsend. We needed the rest. Great hotel. Only complaint was that our room--a non-smoking room--had no window, just a sky light, and made for a bit of claustrophobia at times, though bathroom was spacious. Would recommend.

Very friendly staff, rooms as advertised and as there was a heat wave, the fact that the air conditioner worked effectively, unlike most other hotels we stayed in was a great help. location is a couple of minutes walk from the main train station which is great when coming and going from Prague, but its 10 minutes or so brisk walk to the centre of town - no big deal. It also means its away from the tourist traps and restaurants around the hotel are not so dense, but are cheaper, and used by locals rather than the expensive tourist traps encountered in the main tourist areas. Id stay there again

My wife and I stayed here in May 2005. We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel was spotless clean. Our room was good but we were on the top floor and had just a sky light for daylight, no windows. But it was very clean and had all facilities. We would have preferred a room with a proper window. Though it didnt spoil our time there. The breakfast was very good and overall price was very good.I would return to this hotel if i was in Prague again.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and really enjoyed it . The only draw back is that the hotel is right beside a motorway, but we realised that at the time of booking. When leaving the hotel ,you just walk the opposite direction and within max 10 minutes walk ,you're in the old centre. If you don't want to walk all the way to the castle ,take the nr 9 tram from around the corner of the hotel, and when the tram stops at the big theatre ,change to tram 22,which stops at the same place as where you get out of the 9.tickets valid for 60 min on trams etc cost 12 crone .The breakfast in hotel is brilliant and we would certainly recommend this hotel.

The Tulip Inn Prague Terminus was a beautiful hotel. With a very helpful staff. A little off the beaten path, but once familiarized with the area it's not bad at all. Very conveniently located. Airport bus terminus within 10 mins walk. Within 5 mins walk of nearest metro, 10/12 mins walk from Wenseclas Sq, 12/15 walk to Old Town Sq. Ideally situated, location felt safe. We had room at rear of hotel, I suspect a front room might be affected by street traffic noise. Staff efficient, helpful and courteous, but not over friendly, but this was not a problem. Rooms very clean and comfortable, facilities included - teas maid, room safe, TV, mini bar, bath and shower, air conditioning. Excellent buffet breakfast with very good selection of food available included in price, served from 7.30 AM to 10.30AM. Would stay in this hotel again and very happy to recommend it.
