The building is very modern on the outside but has a warm atmosphere within. With 55 rooms the hotel is still small enough for the staff to have personal attention to your wellbeing. You will feel as comfortable as at home with all your needs being attended for. Restaurant Rubens is the central meeting place where you can have a drink with your fellow travellers, find a good meal and in the morning have your breakfast in all quietness. Wake up slowly and face the world outside after a good start.

The Hotel appearance, atmosphere and quality is like the "standard" quality of any other hotel chain of the same category all over the world. Nothing to complain and nothing to be enthusiast. On the negative site WiFi is very costy. The Hotel is in front of the railway station, which may be an advantage if you travel by train. The surroundings are not exciting (some buildings under construction, the railway line) but the city centre may be reached on foot in few minutes. The employees are professional and efficient. The cost is adequate. Good for business, less for a romantic trip.

How to reach Hotel Golden Tulip Leiden Centre
By car
From Amsterdam / Schiphol Airport (A4/A44)
Follow the A4 in the direction of “Den Haag” (The Hague). After 15 km, follow the A44 in the direction of “Den Haag / Leiden West”. After 17 km, please take the Leiden exit (nr. 8). At the end of this exit, take a left into the N206 in the direction of Leiden. Follow from here the signs of Golden Tulip & Tulip Inn Leiden Centre.
From The Hague / Wassenaar (A44)
Please follow the A44 in the direction of Amsterdam. After 9 km, take the Leiden exit (nr. 8). At the end of the exit, take a right into N206 in the direction of Leiden. desk about a parking space. Follow from here the signs of Golden Tulip & Tulip Inn Leiden Centre.
From Rotterdam (A13)
On junction Kleinpolderplein follow the A13 in the direction Den Haag (the Hague). After 14 km, on junction Ypenburg, follow the A13 in the direction of Amsterdam. After 3,1 km, on junction Prins Clausplein, the A4 in the direction of Amsterdam. After 11 km take the exit Zoeterwoude-Dorp/Leiden (nr. 7). At the end of the exit take a left onto the N206 in the direction of Leiden. At the fourth set of traffic lights, take a right onto the Churchillaan (direction Katwijk). After 3 km, at the end of the Churchillaan, at the traffic lights, take a right onto the Haagsche Schouwweg. At the next set of traffic lights take a right onto the N206 in the direction of Leiden. Follow from here the signs of Golden Tulip & Tulip Inn Leiden Centre
By public transportation
Trains from Amsterdam, Schiphol and the Hague arrive four times per hour. All busses which pass through Leiden, or have it as their destination, stop at Station Leiden NS (the trainstation). From the main entrance of the trainstation, the Golden Tulip Leiden Centre can be found on the opposite side, 200 meters to the left.
