The hotel Universo & Nord is situated in Cannaregio district, those name date back from the grove of reeds that were located in Lista di Spagna. Lista di Spagna area, nestled between the fabulous chiesa degli Scalzi Baroque church dating back from the 17th century, and chiesa di San Geremia church, belonged to the Spanish embassy. The hotel was in ancient time, a dependence of the embassy, situated a further ahead, near Palazzo Labia one of the most beautiful Venetian building. In 1881, the dependence became the hotel Universo & Nord.

Bien pour un garni, tout à fait ce qu'il nous fallait. Toute clientèle qui veux profiter d'un peu de liberté de mouvement. Le seul point négatif, pour moi personnellement c'est le manque d'assenceur!

Cet hotel reçoit des groupes scolaires assez bruyants dans les espaces communs, mais le calme est parfait entre 23 h et 7 h. Hormis ce point, hotel que je recommande.

Universo & Nord - Comment s'y rendre

By car
Guests can leave their car in Piazzale Roma. From Piazzale Roma, take vaporetto line 1-82-42-52 and get off at the Ferrovia stop. Straight on, keeping the right side, for about 50 metres, without overtaking the canal.

By train
From Santa Lucia railway station, proceed on the left side, without overtaking the canal.

By airplane
From Venezia-Marco Polo airport, take either a taxi or a bus to Piazzale Roma and follow the aforementioned indications.
