extérieur- entrée Hôtel Locanda dalla Compagnia extérieur- entrée "La locanda della compagnia" is located at the beginning of the village, and it faces a little typical square where you can find the wonderful Our Ladys Church of the 1871, and a group of characteristic towered houses of the Cinque Terre. During the last century, in the place where the Locanda is actually located, there was the Holy Virgins Brotherhood see (called "cumpagnia", in local dialect).

Its prestige was famous in all the Cinque Terre, and the possibility to be one of it was a great ambition for every village. Afterwards, thanks to its roominess, that place was transformed in the cinema of the village and a point of meeting for the community in the 30/50s, where the typical rural parties took place.

Where formerly there were only bare rocks, actually there are double rooms with bathroom, TV Sat, conditioned air; it isnt directly located on the sea, but you can reach it only in 5 minutes.

Nous étions logés dans un appartement et non dans l'hôtel ... d'où nos notations. Attention : certaines photos du site sont celle de l'appart et non d'une chambre. Excellent rapport qualité/prix pour l'appart ... un peu moins si l'on avait eu une chambre dans l'hôtel. Accueil très sympathique ! A conseiller (pour l'appart et l'accueil)

This place was a nice surprise. The pictures of the room were not good on the website but we were very happy to see that the room was very clean and spacious. The place is well situated in the middle of the village, at same distance from village parking and train station. The only negative was the staff didn't appreciate too much that we wanted to pay with credit card. Fortunately, Italian friends traveling with us reassured the clerk that we were good people and that we were not trying to pull a scam. Our Canadian passports helped even more.

reservation faite par votre intermediaire mais pas de chambre disponible pour la 1ere nuit... avons ete dirigés sur une chambre en ville...tres bien cependant meme si pas prevu....apres, hotel des la 2eme nuit. aucun probleme bon séjour
