Designed by the famous Portuguese architect Cassiano Branco, the Grande Hotel de Luso is an example of the innovative modernist architecture which was fashionable during the 1940's. A beautiful place to enjoy a relaxing holiday alone or with your family, the hotel is far from the pollution and stress of the city, and offers a woodland retreat where you can treat yourself to Bairrada cuisine and get in shape, doing one of a series of sports or spa treatments.

As well as the Olympic swimming pool, there is also a Turkish bath and all of the usual spa facilities to help you relax, including hot stone massages in the garden, weather permitting.
