Originally built in the 1890's, work began in 1995 to bring the Hotel up to the standards of refinement and personal service of a 5 star establishment. This involved the efforts of interior designer Rupert Lord.

Each day this renowned luxury London hotel offers a number of complimentary services to all guests. These are served in the Drawing Room and include tea and biscuits at 4 p.m., a glass of champagne at 6 p.m., followed by hot chocolate from 10 p.m.
