The Tivoli Lagos is right in the heart of town and is one of the best Lagos hotels in the Algarve. The Governor's Palace and the Portas de Portugal e do Postigo ports are two of Lagos' attractions which are not to be missed. Guests could also visit the Museu Regional museum as well as the Pau da Bandeira Fort.
The Tivoli Lagos Hotel offers you the unique opportunity to discover all of the sights and sounds of Lagos as well as enjoy a relaxing beach holiday on the Algarve coast. The hotel has its own beach club, Duna, situated on Meia Praia Beach, only 2 km (1.2 miles) from the hotel. You can get down there easily via a complimentary shuttle bus and you will find a private beach area with your own personal lounger, water sports, kid's club and 3 tennis courts.
As well as a selection of restaurants, bars and conference facilities, this luxury Lagos hotel has 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool and 1 children's pool, as well as a gym and a range of spa facilities and treatments, such as massages, a Turkish bath and a sauna. There are plenty of bars to choose from at the Tivoli Lagos, and the first one you are going to come to is the Luna Bar and Lounge, the hotel's lobby bar. It enjoys direct access to the gardens, swimming pool and the Lacóbriga Restaurant, and is often a venue for live music in the evenings. The drinks menu is also particularly appetising too as it has been designed by the wine expert Anibal Coutinho. It is open until 1 a.m. during the summer and 12 midnight in the winter.
The next place to have a drink or a light lunch in the hotel is the pool bar, which is open in the summer between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Down at the beach, you could also try the Duna Beach Bar, which is located on the swimming pool's terrace and serves refreshing long drinks, fresh fruit milk shakes, fruit juices and extra special cocktails.
