The Borgo Prino is characterised by two defensive towers, the Torre Bonazza and the Torre di Prarola, which used to guard the river estuary from pirates.

From the A10 Genova-Ventimiglia motorway: take the Imperia ovest exit and turn left following signs for the city centre (centro). When you get to the A1 Aurelia state road, turn left and then turn right down the Strada Lamboglia, where the hotel is located.
