At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and join the M1 Motorway, signposted for Dublin. Continue straight ahead to Swords Road (N1), signposted for M1, Dublin City Centre. At the traffic lights, continue straight ahead to Drumcondra Road Lower (N1), signposted City Centre. Exit for Gardiner Street/Parnell Square (follow signs for City South). Follow Gardiner Street for 1 km/0.6 miles to Customs House and continue over the Liffey River at Customs House Quay. Take a left along Sr. John Rogersons Quay for 1 km/0.6 miles. Turn tight at the Ferryman Pub into Cardiff Lane. The hotel is on the right-hand side.

From Dun Laoghaire Ferry Port: at the traffic lights, continue straight ahead to the R119. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit. Continue straight ahead to Harbour Road (N31). At the traffic lights, turn right to Crofton Road, signposted All Routes, N31. At the traffic lights, bear left to Newtown Avenue (N31). At the traffic lights, turn right to Temple Road (N31), signposted for The North, The West, The South, City Centre, N31. At the traffic lights, continue to Rock Road (R118), signposted for The North, Dublin Port, R118. At the traffic lights, continue forward to Merrion Road (R118), signposted for the City Centre N1, N2, N3, R118. At the Outer Orbital Route, Junction 52, continue forward on Northumberland Road (R118), signposted City Centre, R118. Turn right at Grand Canal Bridge to Clanwilliam Place. At the traffic lights, turn left to Upper Grand Canal Street and take an immediate right into Macken Street/Cardiff Lane. The hotel is on the left-hand side.
From Dublin Ferry Port: turn left to the first roundabout. Take the second exit off the roundabout along the North Quays of the Liffey River as Customs House Quay. Take a left over Customs House Bridge and take another immediate left along south quays for 1 km/0.6 miles. Turn tight at the Ferryman Pub in Cardiff Lane and the hotel is on the right-hand side.
