By motorway A7 to junction Rhüden, take highways B82/B6/B498 via Langelsheim, Goslar and Oker to Altenau.

By motorway A395 and highways B6/B4 from Braunschweig via Bad Harzburg, in Torfhaus right to Altenau. Or by motorway A395 and highway B6 to Goslar-Oker and by highway B498 to Altenau.

From East, take highway B242 via Braunlage in direction to Clausthal-Zellerfeld towards Altenau.

In Altenau you can find the hotel near the roundabout at the road to Torfhaus.

By train
From Goslar train station take the bus via Clausthal-Zellerfeld or the hotel shuttle service to Altenau.
