The Charterhouse is an Dqwaruan four star guest house in Torquay, Devon, England. It’s located just a short walk from Livermead Beach, where you can stroll along the seafront, Cockington Village, and Torquay Centre. Head in the other direction and you will hit Cockington Valley Country Park, also just a short distance, where you can visit a 14th century thatched home, go for a walk, or take ride in a horse and buggy.
At the guest house, you also have access to Dartmouth, shopping in Totnes, award-winning restaurants, theatre, and water parks for the children.
Amenities at the guest house, which is over 100 years old, include lush tropical gardens, a swimming pool, and a sun terrace. Wireless internet access is available. Pets are welcome.

The Charterhouse - Comment s'y rendre
By Car:
At the end of the M5 continue along the A38/A380 towards Plymouth.
At the Shell garage where the A38 & A380 fork, take the left-hand lane sign-posted A380 Torquay.
Keep on this road for approximately 13.5 miles until reaching a large roundabout near to the Coventry Farm Trading Estate.
Keep straight on the A3022 towards Torquay, ignoring the A380 ring road, which goes off to the right.
Keep straight on the A3022 through three sets of traffic lights.
At the fourth set of traffic lights, with CURRYS on the left hand side, continue through two more sets of traffic lights which are close together, at which time the road widens into two lanes, with the outside lane sign-posted Harbour and Seafront.
Take this lane and pass through the traffic lights by the Halford Superstore and Tor Station, into Avenue Road. Keep straight on all the way to the seafront and at the seafront turn right towards Paignton.
Take the turning on the right hand side, directly after the Livermead Hotel, sign-posted for Cockington.
The entrance to The Charterhouse is approximately 75 yards after passing under the railway line

CONDITIONS D'ANNULATION
A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total booking will be charged on
receipt of the booking. The balance is due for payment on arrival.
If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, 20 percent of all nights
will be charged.
If cancelled within 48 hours of the date of the booking, or in case of no-
shows, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
