For 7 years we have been located at the prinsenstraat 4 in Amsterdam and during this period your hosts, Sean Maguire and Paul de Bruin, have been able to welcome thousands of satisfied guests.

The family name Truelove always stood for high guest satisfaction and quality service. The service provided was alway different to the competitiors. This tradition we naturally continue.

Apart from the guesthouse we have our antique shop in the Prinsenstraat where you find a great diversity of antiqueties.

chambre double All our rooms are decorated in a modern style but individually furnished with modern and antique furniture

The rooms have t.v., digital clock radio, cd player, fridge, coffee and tea making facilities and double beds.

Breakfast is not included in our rates but coffee and tea are in all our rooms. There are breakfast places next door and opposite from the house and the local bakery is on the corner. So providing a large choice for breakfast just meters away from the house.

Explore the historic city of Amsterdam or the Jordaan during the day and sleep in the tranquility of the rooms during the night.

Truelove Antiek & Guesthouse - Comment s'y rendre

By car
We require your travel itinerary (flight number and airline code, train number, departure city and arrival time here in Amsterdam) this is to insure you that someone is here to check you in upon arrival as we are not always in the house. We arrange our schedules around arrival time of guests.
If you take the train from the airport to Amsterdam central station. Costs approx. 4 Euro per person. This one departs from Schiphol every 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Amsterdam you can either walk to the guesthouse which takes 7 minutes (see directions underneath) or take a small local bus called the "STOP en Go". This one departs outside central station. Ask the driver to drop you of on the corner of the Prinsengracht and Prinsenstraat as the bus has no formal stops

If you decide to take a taxi from the airport or central station take a TCA BLOKBAND taxi to avoid being overcharged and driven all over the city. The cost of a taxi from the airport is about 65 to 70 euros and from central station approx. 10 euro. You must tell the taxi driver from the airport to go via Rozengracht/ Keizersgracht and for drivers from central station via Brouwersgracht/Keizersgracht and than take the 1st right into the Prinsenstraat.
To walk to the house: Going out of the station to your right and walk till you see the 1st canal on your left which is the Singel Canal. Go onto this one and walk till you see the 1st small canal called Blauwburgwal on your right. (it is just a narrow one) go into this one and walk straight on into the Herenstraat and than Prinsenstraat. Will just take 7 minutes
