Oldfield House benefits from a very quiet residential location yet is still only a short walk from Lake Windermere and is the ideal base for exploring the Lake District.All of our 8 rooms are en-suite and comprise of 2 airey premier rooms which have kingsize beds, doubles, twin, family and for the single traveller, two dedictated single bedded rooms.All the rooms have LCD flat screen TV's, a comprehensive beverage tray and hair dryer. The bathrooms have luxurious Egyptian cotton towels and a range of soaps and body lotions to keep you fresh. We aim to temp you with a breakfast menu that uses fresh locally sourced produce. Our menu includes a full English with award winning Cumberland suasages and for those with a lighter taste we have Smoked Salmon with scrambled egg, Eggs Benedict, croissant and a large selection of cereals and fruit.We have a guests lounge, off road parking and a fully non-smoking environment in which to enjoy your stay.

We do serve breakfast which can be ordered on a daily basis. We have devised a breakfast menu that we hope covers for most peoples taste and which uses fresh produce that is cooked to order so it arrives at your table giving you the best flavours possible.Our Full English breakfast uses award winning sausages, locally cured bacon and free range eggs.For those with a lighter palet we have Smoked Salmon with scrambled egg on an English muffin, eggs Benedict and croissant.There is a large selection of cereals, fruit, juices, tea, coffee and toast.

All our rooms are en-suite with either a bath or shower.They have many creature comforts such as thermostaically controlled central heating, flat screen LCD TV's with DVD, beverage tray, hairdryers, Egyptian cotton towels and a range of bathroom amenities. We have kingsize bedded rooms, doubles, a twin and for the single traveller, two single bedded rooms. We also have a large family room which is flexible enough to be used as a twin, double, family four or an adult triple.
