exterior Colle da Vinci Agritourism is nestled in the Medicean countryside of Montalbano, a generous and maternal land whose immense value had been recognized by the Medici family when they protected and transformed it into the Barco Reale hunting reserve.
The ancient rural villa has 5 independent apartments, all scrupulously restructured in the best Tuscan architectural tradition.
Each apartment has a kitchen area, living room, private bath, television and cd player.
In the master apartment, the stately fireplace can be a pleasant companion in the Tuscan evenings, serving as a grill or for warming up by a romantic fire…
The breezy climate renders the area comfortable also in the summer. The outside terrace and vanishing-edge pool reserve breathtaking views of the Montalbano valley.
Guests can enjoy an ample outdoor space freshly covered with light colored canvas that offers a barbecue and wooden tables, and an equipped play area for the children.
Pets are welcome here.
Bicycle rentals and local guided tours are available upon request.
Here, in the land where Leonardo found his first inspirations in Arts and Sciences, you can travel along the same paths that still today remain rich with history and nature. You can observe your surroundings through the eyes of young Leonardo, with the same curiosity for every sublime detail of the landscape and vegetation, for the rocks of marine origin that form the terrain, and for the archeological and historical tokens that embellish the land.
If you fully wish to experience the atmosphere of the 1500’s set by the surroundings, you can dine on our terrace and enjoy the simple and authentic flavors of Tuscany just as Leonardo did.

Coming from the A1 “Del Sole” Motorway (autostrada): exit at Firenze Signa, take the superstrada Firenze/Pisa/Livorno and exit at Empoli (6 km after Empoli east) follow the indication for Vinci and than to Vitolini – 2,5 km after Vitolini village keep the left and go up hill to the agritourism.
Coming from the A11 “Firenze Mare” Motorway (autostrada): take the Motorway A1 in roma Direction,exit at Firenze Signa, take the superstrada Firenze/Pisa/Livorno and exit at Empoli (6 km after Empoli east) follow the indication for Vinci and than to Vitolini – 2,5 km after Vitolini village keep the left and go up hill to the agritourism.

Coming from Florence: take the superstrada Firenze/Pisa/Livorno and exit at Empoli (6 km after Empoli east) follow the indication for Vinci and than to Vitolini – 2,5 km after Vitolini village keep the left and go up hill to the agritourism.

Coming from Prato: take the Strada Provinciale in the direction of Poggio a Caiano, continue toward Carmignano, S. Cristina a Mezzana, S. Giusto-Pinone, after about 1 km keep right and go up hill to agritourism.
