Nice location, nice house, nice personnel but the room, though simple and convenient, lacked spaciousness and charm as one could expect from a farmhouse residence. And there was no common living room to compensate. Also, the breakfast was what you expect from a cheap city motel. Progress could be made in the search a more rural authenticity, which is, I beleive, what most people are looking for in this type of location.

We could not recommend the 'Locanda Viaverde' highly enough. The rooms are only a year old and are simply fantastic, with full access to the 'wellness centre', however, what impressed us most wast the hospitality! As we travelled outside of peak season, the restaurant under the hotel was closed, however, Francesco and Daria invited (and drove) my husband and I to dinner with themselves and their friends.

The Landlord was very kind. Natural hospitality. English is spoken on a low level. I think no other Langueges. Every room seemed to be made up very new. So it was clean and in a good and modern state. A fine landhouse atmosphere. Excellent Restaurant. Way to Verona needs about 30 minutes.

Meanwhile there is a completely new sauna installed there including a whirlpool. Locanda Viaverde is also a well-frequented restaurant with excellent cuisine. Besides, there is a shop where local products like cheese, saucages and honey are offered. It is possible to have lunch and/or dinner in the restaurant. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are excellent (but too much!!). People there are almost exclusively Italian. It is no problem to speak English, and the sister of the owner speaks even German.

Un hotel rural impresionante. El trato de Francesco y los demás impecable. Las instalaciones de diez. A media hora de Verona, tranquilidad absoluta. Muy recomendado.
