When Tenuta confirmed reservation by sms, the welcoming was not suitable and they introduced to other hotel 2 km distance from the Tenuta allocation.

Hi, I was travelling with a family and we were surprised when we arrived to this very nice house. The reservation we made was not received and so we were left with no rooms to stay. But the owner of the place made all possible to find us another place in a nearby restaurant. We have received some of his nice Chianti as well. Nice gesture and resolution to whole situation, so we had a place to stay overnight. Pitty we could not stay in original place as it is very nice. I guess we should book the place at least a week in advance and than hopefully all should be OK.

When we arrıved there we were told that they dıd not receıve our reservatıons through the computer system. It was the nıght before the new year. It was very scary. They helped us to fınd another place. That was very nıce of them. The owner ıs really nıce. We stayed dırectly ın the cıty but ıt was of course more expensıve. We would recommend to confırm reservatıon prıor arrıval. It does not seem to have a relıable system to track the reservatıons ıf you want to avoıd panıc where to stay or pay more than planned.

very good place to stay, hospitable. The cleaners forgot to lock our appartment door, which we we were not happy about when we got back at 10pm. also they dont change your bath towels. its great location. wines are a bit dear!

My husband and I and two friends spent two nights at Tenuta Torciano in June. The facilities, grounds, location, views, meals were wonderful beyond words. But what made this place so special for all of us was the generous hospitality of our host, Fulvio, who went out of his way at every moment to ensure our comfort and enjoyment, especially the pool service!!! We hope to return for two weeks, not two days!!! Grazie, Fulvio!

We were made very welcome, even by the cockeral at dawn! Breakfast was a sort of self-catering system in ones own quarters, and supplies topped up daily by staff. Lovely surroundings and location, the only surprising aspect was the fact that the towels were not changed during our three day stay; otherwise pretty well perfect.

a fantastic place to stay,price included breakfast which we did not expect. we like to travel to different places but we would recomend this to anyone.

Somewhat far from San Gimignano. Rooms were very cold when we first came in (February); it took 2 days to get the heaters to warm up rooms. Staff were o.k. but did not go out of their way to be helpful. Overall o.k. for the price.

This was definitey the best stop on our trip to Italy. The Giachi family were wonderful hosts, the facility was clean and beautiful, everything was just as advertised, the location is perfect and we couldn't have asked for more. It is a great value. We highly recommend this place.
