Wonderful place in the middle of Tuscany hills, very quiet, you can really enjoy nature! Moreover, you can have an excellent food, tipical tuscan cuisine, and good wine. Close to San Gimignano and Certaldo. We had a great stay.

Our honeymoon entered the realm of dream status once we began our stay at this working vineyard/winery. We come from wine country in California and while there are opulent "villas" one can find for a pretty coin, a place that is comfortable for a romantic couple or a family at a reasonable price within a great setting... those are harder to find. I'd recommend Casa alle Vacche to the couple looking to get a way from it all, that don't mind folks strolling past in boots going about their daily farming business.

La casa tiene unas vistas fantásticas. La piscina está rodeada de campos de viñas. Lo único un poco negativo es que los muebles del apartamento son un poco viejos (el sofá del comedor deberían renovarlo),los propietarios sólo hablan italiano y para llegar a la casa tienes que hacer más de 1 km de camino sin asfaltar. Nos costó encontrar la casa. Los datos que se dan y el mapa son inadecuados. Teneis que llegar a Certaldo. Una vez allí coged la carretera que va a San Gimignano. Al cabo de unos 4-5 kms vereis el cartel anunciando la casa. Girad a la derecha. El sitio es muy tranquilo, a 5 km de Certaldo y unos 10 de San Gimignano. Ideal para descansar y para ir en pareja.

Lovely location. Rooms fine. Bed dreadful!!!Owners could not speak any English which should be a requisit if you are exoecting English guests. Pool was not ready for use when we arrived. Family of the owners staying there for the firts four days and were very noisy up to about 11pm, including small children. Problems when we came to pay as the two senior family members couls not operate the machine! Directions were rubbish. Could not have contacted the propert as they did not speak English!

This was excellent, environ very quiet, wonderful vista/rooms great except cooking fcaility lacked grilling capability.Also map directions were inadequate. Actual direction was go to Certalbo, take road to San Gimignano, after 4-5 kms take right to Casa Alla Vacche ( signs are obvious once close to Cassa)However really excellant accomodation Thanks for the survey, regards, Sandra

Casa alle Vacche Farm Home offers six apartments, each with a panoramic view of the romantic Tuscan countryside.Accommodating up to two guests, the one-bedroom apartments feature a double room, living room (possibility of an additional bed), kitchen and bathroom.
Two-bedroom apartments can host up to four guests and feature a master bedroom, second bedroom with twin beds, living room with single sofabed, bathroom and kitchen.
All apartments are non-smoking and are equipped with colour TV, ceiling fans, desk, heating, microwave, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, stove top, cookware, dishware, utensils and heating. Ironing facilities are also available, on request as well as baby cots.
