Inn Villa Sant'Andrea - Montefiridolfi, San Casciano in Val di Pesa

I had no problem with the hotel itself. My problem was with Venere because its webpage is obsolete and unfriendly. On top of that, Venere's Customer Service does not exist, I wrote twice and never got a reply.

First things first. This place is gorgeous! Perfect for a wedding, group, family or couple. The breakfast included some nice local items. I probably wouldn't return as a single traveller and not again in the off season, though. The place felt a bit stale and slow and I felt a little like a burden on the tiny staff, as if they would have rather just closed the place for the winter. The common spaces were not as cozy or as homely as I was hoping. However, when I needed to leave early, Juan was very accommodating and helpful, which was wonderful.

This was undoubtedly one of the loveliest facilities we've ever visited. It was an excellent home base for traveling through Tuscany, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the tour of the winery and the opportunity to taste the estate's wine and olive oil. We would highly recommend the estate to other visitors.

We originally booked just one night but stayed for two. The place is just georgeous, very well priced. The staff we extremely helpful, the fact that breakfast was in main house let you interact with the other guests, absolutely will stay there again. Fantastic

Very good hotel. But the garden, swimming pool... are not closed to the hotel. They are at 4 KM from the hotel. The web site does not mention it. This is a very bad point! The web site indicates TV-satellite but there are only italian stations. That means no real information at all! The web-site says "mini-frigo" : this is actually true, it is mini mini, about 30*20 cm.

Lovely place, room was really nice, staf was wonderful! My only comment was that I really missed the fact that there was no outside garden area, patio, or chairs to sit outside. It is such a lovely area, and was quite hot, and would have been really welcome to have an outside area to sit.

WOW! I would return tomorrow. Excellent stay. Very big and spacious room and private bathroom (shower and bath). Possibility to rent an "insuite" 2nd bedroom (perfect for family)(room no5). Excellent visit of their "wine cellar" with a very knowledgeable guide. small pool near by. Cold breakfast served in very nice dinning room.

We really enjoyed Villa Saint Andrea. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was very nice and helpful, even opened the wine shop just for the two of us. The views from the rooms were good, but could have been better if some of the trees were trimmed back. Very much enjoyed the stay, will return their again in the future.

We had a very relaxing time at Villa Sant'Andrea. The place is perfectly placed for Florence and Sienna, although a car is required. The staff are freindly but not in your face. The lower score for facilities and photographs are for the following. Facilities, you need to be aware that no meals other than Breakfast are on offer and after a long day out it would be nice to have an evening meal in. The villa doesn't advertise that meals are available so advertising is correct just thought that I would mention this. Photographs, just need to be aware that if you are booking B&B the nearest swimming pool is at one of the villa properties on the estate, however if you are booking a villa then the photos are correct. However neither of these detracted from a very relaxing and peaceful stay, ideal for a few days to completely unwind and do some site seeing. If authentic old Tuscan Winery is what you want then this is it, look no further.
