Inn Borgo di Tragliata - Torrimpietra, Rome

What a place! Ideally located, within an easy 30 minute drive to Fiumicino Airport, our stay at Borgo di Tragliata was a delightful way to end our tour of Tuscany. This is not a simple agritourismo….it is a whole complex of buildings….beautiful, historical buildings. The grounds are immaculately maintained ( the web site is very accurate in its depiction) and you feel like you have stepped into another quieter, calmer world. By all means, stay for dinner. Their lovely restaurant and attentive staff is worth the trip in itself. For 25 euro (not including wine) you receive the full Italian meal. Your meal will begin with a plate of antipasta, followed by more pasta (delicious pasta!) than you can eat. The meat course included potatoes and grilled vegetables and it was topped off by tiramisu and coffee. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. If you are looking for an interesting place to stay before flying home…this is it.

It is difficult to get the bags to the room due to the inability to drop them off near the stairway. The room was not cleaned by 5 pm and I had to call the desk. The breakfast was very inferior to what we received at the 3 other hotels we stayed at. It is convenient to the airport.

Outstanding farm home and location. Would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in room and somewhere to relax away from room.

Really beautiful place, spacious,romantic, great surrounding. The fact, that aeroport was just nearby, didn´t disturb at all. If I wasn´t already married, I would consider to have a party there. And I liked their ecological attitude. Nice and tasteful room decorations. I really recommend to visit.

We were welcomed by a very friendly receptionist and had a wonderful late meal after our arrival. The grounds and facilities were just unbelievably beautiful and inspiring. Wish we could have stayed longer. Very close to the airport. Had some difficultly finding the Borgo since we arrived after dark in our car. Want to return to spend more time. The farm house was execellent! Only one problem was there - if you are not old lady to do embroidery there are no other activities as walking and photography. No car rent, no bicycles, only way to seaside or lake is by taxi 15 km far away as like to nearest train station. My suggestion - rent a car and enjoy.

Absolutely stunning!!! Most beautiful place - especially compared to where we stayed otherwise in Italy. Room a bit small and would've like a view from window - but other than that - excellent - reception spoke English very well - Yipeee!! Highly recommend it!

When I got to this hotel, I saw some people just leaving a wedding banquet. Since it's really nice and quite area, it was no wonder people want to have a banquet. I wish I could stay more than one night. It's convenient if you have to use airport.

A wonderful experience staying here. Great country atmosphere and wonderful restaurant. No tv and no ice.

This was one of the most enjoyable locations we stayed at on our honeymoon. The people were very friendly and the food in the restaurant was excellent. When we made our reservations we thought this place was located near the airport, we couldn't have been more wrong. We paid 85 Euro for a one way taxi ride. The nearest train station is about 15 miles away so a rental car is a necessity.

Nice and quiet place, for those who are not afraid from castles.

It was like staying in an old, medieval, stone castle but with modern amenities (great bed and linens, nice bathroom, beautiful wooden amoire, etc.). The grounds were beautiful and the staff friendly and helpful. I wish we stayed more than one night to have a chance to explore the many buildings that make up the estate and learn more about it's history. We would stay here again in a heart beat.

Great hotel with alot to offer. Delicious restraunt. Perfect for a wedding. Only 30 minutes to Da Vinci airport. Super find.

Borgo di Tragliata is a wonderful hotel, surrounded by beautiful nature. The breakfast was very good and our appartment huge and very romantic. As we arrived very late at night, the hotel staff had prepared some antipasti, salad, bread and a bottle of red wine for us, which was very nice. The only problem: The town indicated on the reservation (Fiumicino) is about 25 km away from Borgo. You should search for the village Tragliata on your map to find the hotel (near Torrimpietra).
