exterior IL TESORO is a large country house, with a charming tower and situated on a low hill in the valley below the village of Radicondoli. From the house and from the swimming pool you can admire a typical and breathtaking landscape of gently rolling hills, surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation and grazing sheep. The swimming pool has a big green and clean garden and a big gazebo where you can sit, drink a good Chianti Classico and admire the sunset that makes everything real and will make your holidays unforgettable.
About 7 km before the village of Radicondoli there is the unpaved road in good conditions that brings you to IL TESORO. Radicondoli is a very small village but there you can find the bakery, the chemistry, the butcher and three very little groceries, but always we suggest for weekly shopping to go to Colle val D'Elsa that is 20 km far but is very cheaper.
From our farmhouse you can reach in 30 minutes San Gimignano with its towers, the Medieval castle of Monteriggioni, the 'rootless' church of San Galgano in Chiusdino.
In 40 minutes you can arrive to Siena, to the Etruscan Volterra, and to the 'Terme of Petriolo'.
Florence is not to far and in about 1 hour you can be there, you can visit also Pisa (120 km) or for one day reach the seaside in Follonica (60 km).
In the farmhouse you can buy typical biological foods as cheese, bread, wine, oil, vinegar and many other that you will discover during your holiday.


This location can be at the same time very near and very far from all the world, we suggest this location for those that are looking for relax ..........enjoying the beautiful "turistic" Tuscany.

double room In the farmhouse you can find different kinds of accomodation:
3 double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom and 3 flats.
The flat Arco is suitable for 6/7 people in 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 big kitchen and 1 lounge room.
The flat Chiocciola is ideal for 4/5 people in 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 1 kitchen.
The flat Granaio is a very spacious and romantic flat for 2/3 people, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and 1 big kitchen with fireplace, here you can enjoy also the large terrace with panoramic view.

All apartments are equipped with washing machine, central heating, mosquito nets and hairdryer.

Furthermore, each apartment has its own garden equipped with chairs and tables, deckchairs and umbrellas.

How to reach Farmhouse Il Tesoro

By car
DIRECTIONS TO IL TESORO ARRIVING FROM THE NORTH

Exit at FIRENZE CERTOSA and pay the toll.
After the tollbooth, there is a roundabout.
Take the first exit on your right in the direction
of COLLE VAL D'ELSA, POGGIBONSI,
and GROSSETO-FI-SI.
Continue on this four-lane highway for 41 km.
Exit at COLLE VAL D'ELSA SUD.
NOTE: Do NOT take the Nord Exit.
At the stop sign at the highway exit, turn right.
After about 50 meters, you will approach your first of three roundabouts.
Continue straight in the direction of SP541 GROSSETO, which is indicated at the top of the roundabout sign.
After the first roundabout, you will continue straight for 1.6 km
and approach your second roundabout. Again, continue straight
in the direction of SP541 GROSSETO, which is indicated at the
top of the roundabout sign.
After the second roundabout, you will continue for 1.4 km and approach the third and last roundabout. Again, continue in the direction of SP541 GROSSETO, which is indicated at the top of the roundabout sign.
After the third roundabout, you will travel approximately 1.1 km
continuing in the direction of GROSSETO and will approach a little two-lane bridge. Veer right over the two-lane bridge and
continue straight along this road for roughly 7 km.
NOTE: Immediately after crossing the bridge,
there is a sign on your right for Casole d'Elsa. Do NOT turn. Continue along SP541.
After 7 km, there will be a TOTAL gas station on your left and a small bar/restaurant on your right called La Speranza.
NOTE: After La Speranza, Do NOT turn right toward Casole d'Elsa
Continue straight for 2,5 km after La Speranza till the cross for
RADICONDOLI, here turn right.
Continue straight towards Radicondoli for 5 km, (you will find on your right a street for Mensano, do not turn! )
After the cross for Mensano drive for 2 km and you will find an unpaved road between the trees with a label AGRITURISMO IL TESORO , drive for this road for about 1,5 km and then you
will see IL TESORO on top of a hill.
