Castelvecchi is an excellent quiet retreat with good walking and cycling. A restaurant can provide basic menu on site and a bar for the quiet drink. Good garden area for relaxation and an adequate sized swimming pool add to the stunning views from this site. A good wine cellar and the opportunity to visit the wine making facility onsite, which is a remarkably quiet process. Within easy reach of Siena and Florence by car or bus from the delightful hilltop village of Radda in Chianti. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing location within reach of the heady tourist hotspots of Siena, Florence and San Gimignano this is well worth considering as a base.

Only issue was finding the property. Call as you get close to Raddah and ask for directions. We were lost for an hour. However the host gave wonderful directions and was waiting at the front of the property awaiting our arrival..which was late evening and pouring rain! The stay was frantastic! Great food.

Castelvecchi farm House features guest rooms and apartments in Tuscany with garden or mountain views, ideal for families or couples. The apartments can accommodate up to 4 persons and are perfectly equipped with kitchen, kitchen stoves and cutlery, bed linen, private bathroom with hair-dryer and bidet, fireplace, telephone and heating. Guest rooms are located in the traditional farmhouse or in the elegant villa and both are elegantly furnished and spacious and feature a private bathroom with hair-dryer. Accommodation amenities include telephone, desk and heating. Refrigerators and cribs (infant beds) available on request.
