Inn Antico Feudo San Giorgio - Polizzi Generosa

We spent 3 nights and two full days here. It was extremely peaceful and relaxing. We did not have a car while there so we stayed at the farm with the exception of a walk across the fields to a nearby village. The host family was extremely friendly and helpful. As we farm in America we were interested in their farming practices and machinery and they were very willing to share that. The food was wonderful and very plentiful and the wait staff was also very polite and helpful. It was a very pleasant part of our stay and totally refreshing for us, as the scenery was exceptional.

A remote location with beautiful surrounding farm land. Not much to do except eat fine local produce. The owner takes a personal interest in guests, and pride in his property. Our meals were excellent and a fair price as part of a half pensione. We were given the extraordinary, and huge, room of the owner's uncle, with the books and furnishings still in it. The bathroom was from another era (but adequate). I doubt they generally use this room for guests, many of whom may not like it, but it really made our stay.
