Set in the countryside of Piana degli Albanesi at 700 metres above sea level, Masseria Rossella rises from the shadow of the mountain of the same name, in the beautiful "Scanzano" valley, in front of the Ficuzza wood and the Busambra Rock, where rare species of birds of prey nest. It owes its name to the special quality of the soil, which favours the growth of beautiful rose gardens and is thus known as the land of the roses.
The estate covers 40 hectares of centuries old and new olive groves, (which produce an excellent organic oil), orchards and vegetable gardens, aromas and flavours that form the basis of our home-made cooking. The warm fragrance of rosemary, wild sage and flowers will awaken long dormant memories and feelings. In this corner of paradise you will be pleasantly surprised by the unexpected countryside of woods, hills and valleys, lakes, luxuriant olive groves, immense fields of wheat, precious vineyards and top quality wine cellars. You will be enchanted by the light, bewitched by the colours and seduced by the intense flavours of a land untouched by concrete. A natural and unspoilt environment, proudly linked to its own agricultural traditions.
At Masseria Rossella you can simply listen the birds chattering, enjoy the sun, relax in a hammock in the wood, go for a invigorating walk around the property or have a refreshing swim in the pool. You can enjoy the colours of the sunset with a book in one hand and a drink in the other, or go trekking on the CAI tracks (Club Alpino Italiano) some of which pass through the estate. If you like sports, Masseria Rossella offers a 3 day paragliding course, single jumps or a jump in tandem, if you are a beginner. You can take our mountain bikes, go on a guided trek through the Ficuzza wood and even walk to the top of the Busambra Rock (1600m).

How to reach Masseria Rossella Inn

By car

From Palermo:
Take the motorway for Sciacca as far as the exit for Altofonte. Turn left, go through the hamlet of Villaciambra, after about 1km turn left at the junction heading towards Piana degli Albanesi and follow the main road as far as the turn-off for "Altofonte (right)-Piana (left)" and turn left towards Piana. Take the secondary road (SP5) towards Ficuzza-Corleone and go as far as the 28,900 milestone, where you will see a track on the left. The Masseria is 1km down the track.

From Trapani:

From the Palermo-Trapani motorway, take the exit for Partinico and follow the signs for S. Cipirrello and S. Giuseppe Jato. Go through S. Giuseppe Jato and continue along the main road towards Piana delgi Albanesi. Once through Piana degli Albanesi, go down towards the valley and take road SP5 towards Ficuzza-Corleone for 11km. At the 28,900 milestone take the track on the left which leads to Masseria (1km).

From the Palermo-Catania motorway:

From the Palermo-Catania motorway take the exit for Villabate and the motorway for Agrigento. Follow the Palermo-Agrigento road for 15km and come off at Bolognetta. Follow the directions for “Marineo” and once through the village continue as far as the junction "Corleone-Ficuzza (left) - Piana degli Albanesi (right)" and turn right towards "Piana degli Albanesi". After approximately 8km you will see a track on the right which leads to the Masseria (1km).
