How to reach The Country House Montali Inn

By car
The best way is from the Florence to Rome highway (A1).

1) Take the FABRO (Scalo) exit if you are travelling from Rome and head in the direction of Perugia through Montegabbione and Piegaro.
2) Take the CHIUSI-CHIANCIANO exit, to drive then to CITTà DELLA PIEVE if you are coming from FLORENCE or PISA(airport)
1 & 2 ) Reach the village of TAVERNELLE. You pass through it and after 2 km.
turn left at the sign for " COLLE SAN PAOLO." Go up the hill for 7 km.(the
road becomes gravelled after Colle) following the sign AZIENDA AGRITURISTICA
MONTALI. At the top of the hill (and the most panoramic spot!) turn left,
pass a small old graveyard, a small house and, 800m from the T junction, you
enter a green woodland, and the hotel is on your left. It is actually easier
that it sounds - but we've given you as many indications as possible!
As we are definitely located “off the beaten tracks”, we would surely suggest to print our instructions and bring them with you.
p.s. Please don’t type Montali if you are using a g.p.s. as it will leads you in wrong direction. Eventually write Colle San Paolo (Panicale) and then follow our indications.
