Wonderful stay! We drove through Umbria and planned a stay in Norcia. Although stayed only for one night, we greatly enjoyed the place: super attentive hosts, clean rooms with a character and nice breakfast. Alessandro, the host and owner, provided us with great overview of what we could do around Norcia as well as very spot on tips on where to eat - listen to this gentleman, he won't suggest anything less than worthy your attention. Thumbs up!

I have stayed at the Corte Belvoir while touring Italy with my boyfriend, who works for a famous 5 star hotel company and he is Italian....so when i made the booking i was very nervous that the place would have lived to his expactation. The hotel itself is EXECELENTE,and Alessandro & Rosie (the owners) make you feel like you were at home. The property its an outstanding old monastery, which was restaured to his beauty. Corte Belvoir is just outside Norcia's town center but far enough from noise and tourist busses but still close to al the fab restaurants and shops.... Its nested away on a peacefull hill, right in the natural park of the Monti Sibillini. At night time you feel like you are 10000 miles away from civilization, so quite with the oak trees wispering away to the wind. The feeling of peace its all around. The rooms are very spacious and very cozy, furniture elegant and in mediaval style. The bathroom large and clean with both bathtube and power-shower. The place is defenetely very romantic and it is the perfect gateway for a few days or as a pleasant stop while touring Umbria. Prices are very fair and includes breakfast, a simple but robust farmer-style set up in the courtyard in the summer and in the cozy fireplace room during the winter. I would like to mention once again that the view is outstanding, miles and miles of beautifull idyllic hills and mountains. Please if you ever have the chance to visit Norcia, dont miss out on the Corte Belvoir as its the place to stay :).

Though Corte Belvoir doesn't provide lunch nor dinner, the owner recommended us some good restraunts in Norcia. When we booked, the owner sent us E-mail and explained how to reach there. He is a very kind man!

it's really a beautiful place and the hosts are so charming and sympathics. But the breakfast is not level with the place and the welcome. Nevertheless we spent a very good week in this place with our hosts.

The guest house provides with splendid and very ample non-smoking suite guest rooms, carefully decorated and equipped with colour TV, mini-fridge, heating, private bathroom (Bidet-Shower-Bath-Hairdryer -Toiletries complimentary-NO HYDROMASSAGE).• IMPORTANT NOTICE: The accommodations and the entire environment, is positioned at the feet of a
mountain pass with sudden weather temperature changes and, sometimes, violent mountain storms.
The Guest House it's mostly recommended to a well prepared public and to those who appreciate these kind of stays.
The servise provides of only N°3 heating turns of N°3 hours each (morning- afternoon– evening), therefore absolutely
not suggested to those who particularly do not tolerate cold weathers.
It's warmly suggested to be dressed by layers and so to adopt suitable clothing as coats- Snow jackets-sweaters
(windproof sweaters)-piles-wintry socks-warm shoes (boots/semi-professional trekking shoes with "good" soles
Vibram type)-caps-scarves-gloves.
To the drivers it's warmly suggested to be provided of anti snow/ice car chains and to find out about the weather
conditions on the interested area before reaching the place.

How to reach Corte Belvoir Farm House
By carFrom West: the farm house is easily reachable by the motorway A1 Milano-Napoli. Take the Orte exit, then follow the direction to Spoleto. Once in Spoleto, follow the indications to Cascia/Norcia.
From East: the farm house is easily reachable by the motorway A14 Bologna-Bari. Take the San Benedetto del Tronto exit, then follow the direction to Ascoli Piceno. Arrived in Ascoli Piceno, after 40km, take the Cascia/Norcia exit.
By train
Get off at Spoleto train stationa and take the bus to Norcia.
By bus
From Rome and Perugia you can take one of the buses to Norcia leaving every hour.
By plane
From Perugia airport: take the bus direct to Norcia leaving every hour.
From Rome Leonardo da Vinci and Ciampino airports: take the bus to Norcia leaving every hour.
