It was an OK place especially when during my trip I have stayed in 10 times better agroturism places. The place was cold and when we asked to turn the heating on we were told that they can turn it on for 2 hours that's it. The food was OK, a lot of stuff bought from a store and not a home made, the cake's were a day old. The rooms have very thin walls, so you can hear the "buddy" next door like it was in your room. Not much of interaction with customers, seems like there is an attitude: you are here which means we will get your money, and then you are on your own. They were available for anything only between the hours of 4 pm and 7 pm!!!!. Not the best impression and memories of the place.

Wow! San Giorgio was our favorite stay throughout our three weeks in Italy. You couldn't ask for a more perfect setting surrounding this unbelievable Farmhouse. It feels as though you're in a Van Gogh painting! The rooms are very spacious and feel like authentic Tuscany. The swimming pool as well as the countless places you can sit and enjoy a picnic or a bottle of their house wine will make you never want to leave. The breakfast, which is included in the price, was also the best we had in Italy. The hosts are wonderful cooks, as you'll enjoy fresh cakes, Italian meats and cheeses and fresh juice every morning. The dining room is equally fabulous! The location is just outside Siena, providing you with easy access to all of Tuscany's treasures, but with a tranquil environment that will make you feel as though you're in the middle of the countryside. We couldn't say enough about San Giorgio!

Very nice family run hotel. Quiet place situated close to Siena; however you need your own car because it is not accesible by public transport. A lot of wild animals and birds around the house. Good pizzeria in the nearby (approx 3 km).

Once we found San Giorgio it was lovely! Don't use your GPS, rely on the map. Peaceful location, comfy rooms, home made jams and cakes for breakfast and helpful hosts; also a great location for exploring Tuscany. Don't miss the restaurant nearby: Il Contedino. San Giorgio will provide a card and directions. Although there were mainly families with children (Easter) it was still quiet.

It will be nice if the hotel could offer wireless internet. The breakfast needs some improvements. It was too simple.

San Giorgio was a truly pleasant place to stay. After spending time in the busyness of Rome and Florence, it was so nice to escape to the peacefulness of San Giorgio. It was in a great location to see all of the little towns within Tuscany and very close to Siena. The breakfasts were delicious and Tina, Paolo and Francesca were very hospitable. The cats and sheep wandering around each day were quite amusing as well! We would love to return one day.

We had a wonderful time. The owners, Tina and her daughters (Francesa) made our stay very inviting. Great location for either venturing south to the various hill towns (cheese, wine, site-seeing, shopping and eating), only 10minutes from center of Seina and short drive to Firenze. It was truly a relaxing experience in the Tuscan hills.

We stayed in several bed and breakfast locations during our 11 day stay in Italy. This was by far our favorite. Beautiful place, wonderful people and great accomodations. Would highly recommend this spot and look forward to staying there again in the future.

We stayed at a dozen B&Bs in Italy during our one month trip in June, 2008, and our stay at San Giorgio was the highlight of all our lodgings. You need a car, or be willing to pay for a taxi ride to and from Sienna, but if you have a vehicle it is only a 10 minute drive to the parking lots at the edge of the walls. Our room had a loft area with two beds that our teenager slept in, while we were downstairs in a comfortable double bed. The breakfast area is inviting, clean and the food of very good quality. One night the host family cooked a five course meal that everyone staying choose to attend, which was both very fun and excellent quality. We recommend this place very highly, and will return ourselves next time in Tuscany.

We are a group of 4 adults travelling and enjoyed our brief stay at this Tuscan Framhouse (sharing a quad share room).Breakfast and the environment were lovely, shower was hot and bed very comfortable. Cats and birds were abundant, so you must be o'kay with this type of rural farmhouse house stay. Great place for young families and anyone wanting a rest from the busy tourist trails. Short 10-15 minute car trip into Siena old town. We had no trouble following the directions, the Radi road was well signed on the right on SS2 from Siena. Would stay again host very gracious and helpful.

This is a fantastic agritourismo location. It was the best part of our Italy trip. We've been to Italy numerous times. We would love to go back to San Giorgio and stay a week or more. It's just a very sweet and lovely place. The rooms are quaint and lovely. The breakfast room is really nice and the food is good. The staff are wonderful and helpful. Tina, the owner, is a gem. It was fun, every morning to go up and watch the birds. They have a peacock, chickens, and a geese in a pin and they are very interesting.

Casa San Giorgio is an exceptional place and owner Francesca was wonderfully friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and caring. We can enthusiastically recommend Casa San Giorgio to almost any type of traveler, as long as they understand that it is not in or very near any town. For us, this was perfect. The place has real character. The room, house, common-use areas and grounds were beautiful. The decor showed great creativity and a sense of humor. The breakfasts with fresh home-baked goods were among the best we had during our month of travels in Italy. We wish we had spent more time at Casa San Giorgio. The "crete" area of Tuscany is very beautiful, much less tourist-y than other areas, yet within easy reach by car of Siena and other touristic sites. We enjoyed excellent hiking, and jaunts to interesting, friendly nearby towns. We had a pleasant, but simple Tuscan dinner at Trattoria del Arco in the tiny village of Murlo, and enjoyed beautiful views on the drive there. We will recommend Casa San Giorgio to our family and special friends.

My husband and I and our daughter and her husband spent three fantastic days at San Giorgio. The photos don't do it justice, it is so peaceful and beautiful and charming. The family, Francesca and Tina were welcoming and very helpful as we ended up arriving without a car. Having a car would have been easier, but they drove us to the bus and arranged for a car and driver to take us to some of the hill towns. The family, rooms, breakfast and lovely surroundings made for a memorable visit to this area.

This place is a real gem - we found a magnificant old farm style family room which was clean and specious (children - 5 & 7 yrs old slept upstairs and we had our privacy down in a rather separated room). It also has a basic kitchen in (we could choose to use it at an extra cost) and only tight space is the bathroom (only shower, but modernly equipmed and absolutly clean!). Also our kids just LOVED the place and asked to return! it's like a small farm with few animals around, a play ground and sorrounded by green fields. It's most relaxed with amazing views - simply sit outside and enjoy the quietness. Breakfast was reach and tasty in a nicely decorated room (note it was served until 9am only). This place is absolutly romantic, so next time in we will keep the kids at home... You can probably reach it only by car and navigating in first time according to directions in the interent is rather confusing - from Siena driving south on the ss2, turm right after about 5km only on to the dirt road signed to Radi. Coming from south on the ss2, ignore all directions/signs to Radi until you're passed and out of Montorni d'Arbia towards Siena and look for the same dirt road after about 2~3km. The facility is ~1.5km down that road. If you reach Radi, pick the dirt road to the most right below the ancient castle and go along it about 3~4km to reach. Otherwise, one could rent bicycles and when it will become warmer - there's a pool as well. Tina and daugther are most welcoming, helpful and fleunt in English, so no problem with that as well. This place is highly recomemnded! We will be back there. ps - there's a large COOP supermarket on the west side of Montorni d'Arbia (10min drive), past the bridge and then immediately to the left.

Absolutely wonderful people, Francesca and Paulo are the some of the most hospitable people your likely to meet anywhere in the world. The beauty of the farm is not justified by the photos and the breakfast is the best and most sumptuous we experienced in Italy, even to the point Francesca is like your personal waitress. Cannot recommend enough. 10 of 10 is easily justified.

Excellent location, well maintained rooms and wonderful hosts. The hostess was very helpful in planning our stay, and the homemade cakes for breakfast were delightful. Clearly it was the best agriturismo, in fact the best stay we had during our 5 week Italian vacation! The hostess recommended a restaurant, La Capannina, only 2-3 km. away that was also excellent. The only suggestion would be for the owners to try getting the cat urine smell from the public area of the house.

We actually had booked bed and breakfast but when we arrived the landlady said that one of the appartments was also still available. We decided to take the appartment, which was a good choice, as we stayed for a week. The appartment was spacious and had a small kitchen. The property is situationed in a wonderful surrounding, on a little hill in the middle of green fields (May). The owners were very helpful and welcoming. It was the perfect location for day trips to Siena (10 minutes by car), San Giminiano, the Crete, and the Cianti area. Also perfect to relax at the pool or in the garden. The property is also very family friendly, which can cause a little noice at the pool, but we didn't mind this. We would definitely go there again.

We cannot rate San Giorgio higly enough! We had an absolutely wonderful stay for the 8 nights we were there. Tina and Francesca are the friendliest, most welcoming and helpful hosts you could hope for and the surroundings are perfect if you fancy staying somewhere quiet but still within easy reach of Siena. Our only suggestion for improvement is that the photographs do not do it justice - its MUCH nicer than it looks! We will definitely be back.

I made a Tour with my Family through Italy by car and definetely we had a gteat time in San Giorgio, just 15 minutes away from Siena. The little farm is just quite, spaciuos and with all services. Hospitality was extremly friendly. You just need to be prepared with a good map to find the place right away. I got lost since I trusted much on the Navigation System (not that good on the country field).
