farmhome - exterior The San Fabiano farm home is located in the Arbia valley, just 12 km south of Siena, in a position ideal to visit the hill towns of Murlo, Montalcino, Arezzo, Cortona and Pienza, as well as the San Fabiano castle built in the 12th century and the family church dedicated to San Fabiano, one of the first Christian martyrs.

The San Fabiano farm home, dating back late '700, was beautifully restored by Fiorentini family with care and taste and is surrounded by 1800 acres/728 hectares of durum wheat fields, sunflowers, vineyards, corn, oak woods, lakes and two streams: Arbia and Biena.

How to reach Farmhouse San Fabiano

By car
From Rome Fiumicino airport proceed towards Civitavecchia, continue to Grosseto and follow the indications to Siena. At the sign Fontazzi, turn right and climb the hill; on the hilltop turn left, and after 1 km turn right towards Monteroni d'Arbia onto the SS.2 Cassia. After some 8 km you will get on the Cassia road, turn left to Siena. Enter the village of Monteroni d'Arbia and after the gas station, turn right to Asciano and turn left again after 300 meters on a white gravel road. After 100 meters you will see San Fabiano farm home.

From the centre of Rome, take the A1 highway until Betolle Val di Chiana exit. Take the Siena 4-lane motorway and drive until Serre di Rapolano. Exit and continue until Asciano. After Asciano, pass a narrow bridge and turn left, following the indications to Monteroni. After 10 km you will enter our valley and at the end of a straight road you will see the sign to San Fabiano. Turn right on a white gravel road and after 100 meters you will see San Fabiano farm home.

From Milan take the A1 highway until Firenze Certosa. Exit and turn right on the Autopalio 4-lane road to Siena. Drive for 60 km and exit at Siena Sud. Turn left and after 200 meters turn right, climb the hill until a traffic light and turn right. You will be now on the Cassia road. Continue for 11 km and enter the village of Monteroni d'Arbia. After Lo Sfizio bar, turn left to Asciano and, after the bridge, enter the gravel road on your left. You will see the San Fabiano farm home after 100 meters.
