Agriturismo Nibbiano - Montepulciano

The villa is set in a valley that is approximately a 10 minute drive to Montepulciano. Our first room was next to the breakfast room and was dark with an uncomfortable and noisy bed. There is no air-con so we had to leave the window open which resulted in one of the family cats visiting us at 2am in the morning. The owner showed us an apartment the next day which was much nicer (lighter with an outdoor area) and what I would recommend if you choose to stay here. The breakfast buffet was very simple and it isn't included in the price. Wi-fi was up and down when we stayed and is only available near the main house - not near the apartments. The owner was accommodating but there is no obvious sign saying where to check-in when you arrive and trying to check-out in the morning proved a challenge - it took more than 10 minutes to find someone to check us out, so maybe organise a check-out time the day before if you're leaving before 8:30am.

This is a beautiful and quiet retreat off the beaten plan near Montepulciano. As others have mentioned, it can be a challenge to find at first. Have the phone number with you. Google maps did not work for this place. The internet was down and we had to scrape up all our cash to pay. Need to like cats; they are everywhere, but well mannered. Lovely pool area, fresh herbs all around. Kitchen equipment is basic, but sufficient. Very tranquil. A great place to recuperate from Rome or Florence mobs. Be sure to visit Cartucci cellar in Montepulciano.

we really enjoyed our short but very nice stay at Agriturismo Nibbiano. Denise is very helpful, welcoming & very nice, late arrival was no problem. the surroundings of the house are so beautiful! you should invest time in enjoying & exploring it! there is a big nice & very clean pool! the breakfast was very good and we can only recommend a Tuscan dinner prepared by Denise herself!! it is very good & tasty. a great place just to relax!!

Nibiano was our favorite place we stayed while in Italy. Denise was very welcoming and the meals were outstanding!! We highly recommend Nibbino and would definitely stay there again. It is a lovely setting for enjoying wine country!!

Una estancia maravillosa. Somos una pareja joven que pasamos un día en Nibbiano y realmente nos quedamos muy sorprendidos por la belleza del lugar, la amabilidad de Denise (la gerente del Agriturismo) y todos los servicios que nos dieron. Estamos seguros de que volveremos a pasar más días en ese lugar encantador. El servicio no pudo estar mejor, la cena que nos ofrecieron fue posiblemente la mejor que comimos durante nuestro viaje por Italia. En definitiva un excelente lugar para disfrutar, descansar y saborear de primera mano la Toscana más bella!

raphael is a wonderful chef and an extremly accomadating host

It was nice and quiet and clean place when we last found it. The owners were very friendly and helpful (we happened to be there, when they made some restructurings) - hope they put some more signs to crossroads. Nothing very special, but cozy and nice place to stay.
