The beautiful Farmhouse "Tenuta Il Vallone" is immersed in a valley overlooking a typical hilly landscape. There are 3 ha of olive groves, recently planted (650 plants in 2001) with the traditional Tuscany varieties. They have already started to produce a fine extra virgin olive oil.
From the house you can see vineyards and olive trees, and old Medieval villages on the top of the hills.
The nearest village is Monsummano Terme, which is about 5 km far from the Farmhouse, 7 km far from spa town Montecatini and 16 km from Pistoia, the provincial chief town.
We are open from April 11th till October 10th, we are centrally located for visiting cultural towns such as Pisa 60 km), Lucca (28 km), and Florence (35 km) and for enjoying country pursuits such as walking, mountain-bike riding and horse riding.
The road to the Farmhouse is a tiny winding lane bordered by ancient Tuscan oak trees. The impressive gates swing open onto the large garden that surrounds the Farmhouse.
The inviting swimming pool (6x12 metres) is stepped into the hill below the Farmhouse and is positioned to catch all-day sun. There is also a large, private and secure parking area.

How to reach Farmhouse Tenuta Il Vallone

By car
DIRECTION: From Milan take the Highway A1 to Florence. In Florence NORD follow indication to Pisa, highway A11 (E76).

Take the Montecatini Terme exit off the A11 (E 76) motorway. After paying the motorway toll, turn right following the direction Monsummano and Montecatini Golf and drive always straight on ss 436; you will pass a traffic light; then, at the second traffic light, turn right and follow the sign MONTECATINI GOLF. You are on the street via Risorgimento. At a round median trip, drive keeping the left and follow always Montecatini Golf sign. You will find the 3rd traffic light, always straight on and then right to a large way.
Drive straight on this way; on your right side you will see a petrol station TAMOIL.
Always straight on until the 4th traffic light (vergine dei pini); here TURN LEFT and go always on this way.
You will find a city sign (POZZARELLO VILLAGE); from there on you have to drive right; then you are obliged to turn right. Follow the sign MONTECATINI GOLF. At the cross in front at the Despar Supermarket take the street on your right via Vergin Chiusa. Drive on this country road for about 2 km. You will see on your left a big wall belonging to a private owner. DO NOT FOLLOW ANYMORE THE SIGN MONTECATINI GOLF, but go straight on for 80 mt. The first road on the right, Via di Mezzo, is your way. After 300 mt. you will see on the left side the Farmhouse Tenuta Il Vallone.
