Inn Podere Saliciaia - Monsummano Terme

Wonderful place to stay in the Toskana! Rooms are furnished very nice and very clean. Great pool with beautiful outdoor area. Is outside the village - access via not asphalted "street".

Really enjoyed our stay at Agriturismo Podere Saliciaia. Beautiful grounds, spotless room, and excellent location -- about half an hour drive (or less) from each of Florence, Lucca, and Pisa. If you have a car and are in NW Tuscany - stay here instead of a dark and dingy hotel in Florence/Pisa at twice the price (or more). Enjoyed the pool, and staff very friendly and helpful. They also served us an outstanding multi-course dinner for 30 E each(including house wine). Don't pass up on the opportunity to have dinner while staying at Podere Saliciaia! Parking is free and A/C is in room, but weather was so cool and refreshing (in late August!) that we didn't even use it.

This was a real find, extremely good value, great facilities and wonderful service. The restaurant was excellent both for breakfast and dinner. Very handy for the town of Monticatini Terme with it's direct rail link to Pisa, Florence and Lucca. Highly recommended for a visit to norhtern Tuscany.

Very pleasant staff rooms absolutely mint and clean every neccessary and more is available. outside structures (pool....) rich and generous BUT : noise isolation beetween rooms is really catastrophic you ll hear a fly in your neighbour's room. forget the morning breakfast,take food in the suburbs to make your own in the room,since all the equipment is provided. and beds are rude (despite new) for your back.
