A little garden is available to all guests for relaxing moments. The public bus stop to Venice is 1 km from the farm home.

Fantastic, the family even tried to understand our poor Italian. Food - yummy! Minor points getting there by public transport and taking walks in local area as roads very busy.

A very good experience. The family who run Da Merlo (grandmother, grandfather, son, and daughter-in-law) were eager to accommodate us, picking us up at the train station on our arrival and taking us back when we left, preparing meals(from their farmhouse kitchen menu)at odd times as we required, early or late, offering bus tickets for the trip into Venice (a half-hour's ride), driving us the 3/4 mile to the bus stop and picking us up as we wished. The farm home is situated amidst patches of cultivated ground and small vineyards that are gradually giving way to suburban development. The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and meticulously kept, reflecting the family's great pride in the place and in their history there. A footnote: earnest hospitality and sincerity are the great virtues of the service at Da Merlo--don't expect brisk efficiency or well-rehearsed procedures for such things as checking in or out, which may take a while.

Very nice accomodation really near to Venice. You easy reach the town by bus. It's very clean and the room are big.

All the recently renovated rooms have en suite bathroom with shower and hair-dryer.They also feature air conditioning, bar, independent heating, TV, telephone, safe and private parking inside the establishment for all the guests.
They are in a typical country style with beams and simple furniture and can host up to 4 persons (per room).
