The setting was lovely & the house like a baronial mansion with antiques & lovely furniture. Very quiet in early November but we were able to sit out in courtyard as weather good. Lovely bedroom & sitting room. Only criticisms were that bathroom could benefit from a bit of updating (bottom of bath very worn) & it did get chilly at night as there didn't appear to be any heating apart from bathroom. The girl at reception was lovely & we had fun practising our German with her. Food in restaurant was fairly good, but unfortunately we were the only people there on the 2nd night.
