Farm House Guinzano - Gubbio

Guinzano is located on a hill, surrounded by ancient woodland, a few kilometers from Gubbio, has a restaurant and six bedrooms, all equipped with air conditioning and private bathroom.
The company, certified and operated according to the methods of Organic Farming, spread over 16 hectares, part forest and part devoted to crops and livestock.
The name comes from the names found in historical maps and means, in the dialect of Gubbio, that bit over there, because the place is definitely off the beaten track and is ideal not only for eating or sleeping, but to "pull the plug "in nature.
The six rooms are furnished each with different furniture, but all from the homes of family and each with its own history.
Guinzano is also a restaurant where the food is not only seen as a way of eating, but it represents the culture and history of the territory, the rediscovery of the flavors and a moment of conviviality ,and for this we devote time and care in finding the item out the great distribution but organic or traditional production.
The bread is homemade, the oil is produced from olives of the olive grove that you can see from the veranda and the vegetables come from the orchard, the fruit is always available on the tables and, in season, if you want, even on trees.
We eat in the dining room at the communal table, but if you want privacy you can request a separate table, or on the veranda overlooking the surrounding landscape; in the lounge, where you can sit in the original chairs and sofa, stands the great-grandmother's piano.

How to reach Guinzano Farm House

By car
1) Highway Firenze/Roma
Take the Valdichiana exit (if coming from the north) or take the Orte exit (if coming from the south) and then follow the sign for Perugia, continue towards Cesena, take the Ponte Pattoli exit.

2) Highway Bologna/Ancona
Take the Cesena exit (if coming from the north) and then the E45 expressway towards Perugia/Roma. Take the Ponte Pattoli exit - before Perugia.

If used ways 1 or 2 then: Follow sign for Casa del diavolo. Take the direction for S. Cristina used also the sign for "La Ginestra" until you will find sign to Guinzano Agritourism.

3) Highway Ancona/Bologna
Exit at Fano (if coming from the south) and follow the sign for Perugia/Roma and then follow the sign for Gubbio/Perugia and take the direction for S. Cristina. Continue following the sign directed to "La Ginestra" untill you will find the sign for Guinzano Agritourism.
