Eine durchaus empfehlenswerte Unterkunft! Die Besitzerin Joanna ist nicht nur äußerst freundlich und kompetent, sondern spricht auch perfekt englisch! Das Razza del Casalone liegt inmitten eines riesigen Parks, der auch kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten bietet. Die Appartments bestehen aus einer großen Wohnküche (Herd, Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine, Geschirr), Badezimmer (sehr groß und sehr sauber) und Schlafzimmer mit Klimaanlage. Das große Pool im herrlichen Garten läd zum entspannen ein! Alles in allem ist es der richtige Ort, um nach ausgiebigen Erkundungsfahrten in die südliche Toskana gemütlich zu relaxen! Sehr empfehlenswert sind übrigens Ausflüge nach Pittigliano und Castigliano! (Marina di Grosseto kann man sich sparen...) Einziges Manko ist, dass sich in der unmittelbaren Umgebung kaum Geschäfte und Restaurants befinden, da sich die Unterkunft in der "Vorstadt" von Grosseto befindet (Wohnblocks, Industriegebiet). Joanna gibt aber gerne Tipps, wo man gutes Essen bekommt! Sollte es uns wieder einmal in diese Gegend verschlagen, werden wir sicher wieder im Razza del Casalone übernachten!

How to reach Farmhouse Razza del Casalone

By car
From Florence-Siena: from the SS223 Senese take the SS1 Aurelia towards Rome. Exit at Grosseto Sud and proceed to Grosseto.
From Livorno-Rome: from the SS1 Aurelia road exit at Grosseto Sud and continue to Grosseto.
From Grosseto: follow the signs to Ippodromo-Marina di Grosseto on the left. Underpass the railway and turn left towards Marina di Grosseto. At the roundabout, where you can see the signs to Principina and Marina, take the street on the right to Marina, park on the right side of the small parking area at the sports centre. Crossing the street you will find Razza del Casalone farm house.
