Farm House Sant'Alfonso - Furore

Amazing place. Amazing views. Best food Ive ever eaten (and I was eating out in Rome and rest of amalfi coast for 3 weeks). Staff were very helpful and friendly. Everything about the place was just perfect.

Very nice, quiet place, hotel and surroundings. Delicious and fine breakfast and diners Wathever, we had some difficulties to find the hotel, arriving at the end of the road, there was no clear indication. There was never mentionned about the 200 meters of stairs to join down the hotel. The car park is inexisting and it is very difficult to turn back. The stay was so pleasant that we would like to come back one time more. Many thanks at all.

St Alfonso is a wonderful place to stay. Dinners were excellent and served on a covered patio overlooking the Mediderranean. Some suggestions for improvement include:breakfast was dominated by what most Americicans would consider desert- sweet cakes and pastries. Lovely and tasty, but would have liked more alternatives like hardboiled eggs, rolls, cheese, etc. Stunning outside areas where you can sit and gaze at the sea, but more outdoor furniture is needed.

Spectacular situated at more than 400m above sea level this place is a very good starting point for some beautiful walks for which there also quite good maps which, however, are not easily available locally. The landlord family are nice people and food is good and comes at reasonable prices. The room we were given is separated from the main house and painted in nice colours. But it is smaller than expexted from photographs and tends to be chilly in March as apart from an air condition there is no heating, though this might be an advantage in summer. The attached private bathroom is tiny and has no heating at all. The iron bed might be short for people higher than 185cm. Still the place is a clear recommendation provided you are not looking for luxury rooms.
