Sostio a Levante Guest House - Framura

Lucca and Laura were wonderful. They communicated with us via e-mail prior to arrival and Lucca picked us up at the train station (free of charge). The facility was beautiful and the scenery was breathtaking. Be sure to book a dinner reservation as Laura is an incredible cook and prepared one of the best meals we had while in Italy. While at Sostia a Lavante, we met some of the most amazing people. We shared meals and learned about other cultures. We couldn't have asked for a nicer stay.

The setting of this place was ideal and the host was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and the room was clean and ample. We would definitely seek this out again when we return to the area.

After a day in the car, the children did enjoy the big safe garden and played football. I enjoyed very much the space outside for the children to run.

Very welcoming and beautiful place to stay. Luca & Laura were excellent hosts and the dinners at the guest house are authentic Italian cooking. View is amazing. We never had a car, so Luca fetched & dropped us at train station. Very homely and we met guests of all nationalities (Australian, Spanish, German etc). We were the first South Africans.

We rent a 4-bed bedroom for two couples in order to save money. The room was big and comfortable, with very pleasant matresses and sheets, elegant countryside decoration with a few modern touches, and a fully-equipped bathroom with many towels for us. Breakfast was excellent, with home-made capuccinos, pies and cakes and tasty fruits. The owner couple has been extremely nice to us, we arrived late and they even made dinner for us after the kitchen was closed. But I´m saving the best: what is really amazing is the place the hotel is located. It is actually a farm on top of a hill (please note that it is far from Framura station or even the town, so you should arrange with the owner to pick you up at the station with his funny van). You can find there some farm animals, a vineyard, all surrounded by mountains, trees and green, and even with a distant view of the see from one side. We were really happy staying there and will hopefully return very soon! Alquilamos una habitación con 4 camas (una doble y dos individuales) para dos parejas, con el fin de ahorrar dinero. El cuarto era grande y confortable, con colchones y sábanas muy agradables, decoración elegante de estilo campo con algunos toques modernos, y un baño totalmente equipado con varias toallas para que usemos. El desayuno era excelente, con capuccinos, tartas y pasteles caseros y sabrosas frutas. La pareja propietaria ha sido muy amable con nosotros, llegamos tarde pero nos prepararon una cena típica incluso aunque la cocina ya estaba cerrada. Guardo lo mejor: lo que es realmente asombroso es el lugar en el que está situado el hotel. En realidad es casi una granja, situada en la cima de una colina (tenga en cuenta que está muy lejos de la estación de Framura e incluso de la ciudad, así que puede acordar con el propietario para que lo recoja en la estación con su divertida camioneta). Se pueden encontrar allí algunos animales de granja, viñedos, todo ello rodeado de montañas, árboles y verde,

Excellent meals

Idyllic guest house in beautiful surroundings. Felt homely yet special. Tucked away, a 10-minute drive up the hills from Deiva Marina. If you don't have your own car, they will drop and collect from the station every day. Light breakfast including cereal, yoghurt and home-made cakes and good, home-made dinners with their own-grown red and white wine. Would highly recommend.
