What a delightful place! The service was warm and helpful. The pool area is definitely worth making the most of, if weather permits. The bedroom was cosy and inviting - a lot nicer than the photos show, and breakfast was delicious - even better when it was warm enough to eat out on the terrace. We tried out some of the restaurants recommended on the Corte Dei Gioghi website and were not at all disappointed - really great places! A bike ride in the surrounding area and also around the town of Ferrara are recommended. Ferrara is a perfect distance away - just 10 minutes - and it's a nice place to explore without hoards of tourists. Overall, we had a wonderful stay here and would recommend it to anyone who is passing through the area, or who fancies a few days of comfortable relaxation.

Corte Dei Gioghi is an excellent place to stay, especially if you have a car and want easy access to Ferrara, but no parking hassles. In a quiet rural setting, you are only a few minutes from Ferrara. The owner was most helpful. The morning breakfast - cake, bread, and jam were all homemade and delicious. The room was immaculate and quiet.
