Farm House Alla Cedrara - Ferrara

Quiet place, easy to visit ferrara, staying at the agriturismo is like visiting old friends, excellent equipped room and bathroom, marvelous breakfast with homemade bread, homemade gateaus like torta tenerina and others, mortadella and other salume, various formaggi. we enjoyed very much tizianas recommendation for dining in the vicinity (nice dinner, good cuisine with two dishes for 13 euro). the agriturismo is not easy to find, you should track down exactly how to go.

The hosts at Alla Cedrara are the most friendly and competent people you can imagine. A perfect place for a beautiful vacation.

There were four of us who stayed at Alla Cedrara for 7 nights and we all agreed that it was a wonderful experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the lovely breakfast that was served each morning and we loved the interaction with the owners. They were very gracious and didn't seem to mind answering our many questions about the area. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend staying here to anyone.

Beautiful site, in the close sorroundings of Ferrara. Very quiet a part sometimes a far train noise. Good breakfast, not very various but with home made cake.

Alla Cedrara proved difficult to find from the map provided. However, we perservered, asked on street corners, and got directions by phone. It was worth it when we finally drove the 1.5 km down a dusty rural road to find the farmhouse. Our accommodations in the duplex cottage were lovely - nicely decorated, quiet, and comfortable. The breakfasts are fantastic with lots of homemade pies, cakes, pastries as well as cereal, yogurt, meat, cheese, etc. Not your typical Italian breakfast! We appreciated the location just 30 km from the Bologna airport. Our two-day stay at Alla Cedrara was the final destination of a one month road trip through Italy.

Alla Cedrara is a beautiful rurally-located facility. The accommodation we had was one half of a duplex cottage set apart from the main building. A very pleasant porch with a large round table was perfect for happy hour and playing cards. The room was nicely decorated and to our surprise, had two luggage racks! (I think the first we've ever encountered in a B&B in our years of travel). The breakfast was not the sparse Italian coffee-and-croissant, instead a lavish spread of home-baked goodies, meat, cheese, cereal, yogurt, etc. All-in-all, a great place to stay. An added bonus is its proximity to the Bologna airport. The only downsides were a map that was of very little help and 1.5 km of dusty gravel road to the farmhouse.

Immaculate housekeeping. Beautiful setting. Warm hosts. We used the owner's bicycles to explore Ferrara. Every evening we picnicked on the back patio and enjoyed gorgeous sunsets. The owners went out of their way to make our visit pleasant. A quiet, pastoral setting.

This is a lovely place to stop for a few days and visit nearby Ferrara when traveling by car. Rather hard to find, though, without the guide on this website: our satnav just couldn't locate it and took us a long way around. Very nice rooms and luxuriously appointed bathrooms. The garden full of aromatic plants and blooms and even a resident hedgehog made a brief appearance. Very gracious hosts and service. The only drawback: we had to resort to French to communicate, English and German were not spoken. This limited our conversation somewhat.

I really liked Alla Cedrara with the exception of the large number of overhead power lines. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great.

This was a wonderful spot on our trip. We would like to return. Our room was great, beautiful bathroom, and the best breakfast of our whole time in Italy. For dinner, the owners diected us to a lovely nearby restaurant with excellent food and even called for reservations for us. Friendy people with a wonderful facility.

Very difficult to find, but there were at least some signs on the road. it seemed like it was at the end of nowhere, but then we discovered a fabulous restaurant just down the road. The spacious rooms were very nicely equipped with small frig, telephone, and other amenities. The owner & family were very gracious hosts at breakfast. We enjoyed our stay.

Excellent stay.The owners are very competent and helpfull.The house and the rooms are nice and quiet.An extension of the facility will be ready in a near future.I recommend ALLA CEDRARA,it is a first class location!

Tiziana and Nico were wonderful hosts with plenty of useful advice about what to see and do as well as the simple things like where to park and eat. Alla Cedrara was very comfortable and the breakfasts were an excellent mix of high quality standard fare together with different, freshly baked, treats every day. If you have a car you could not find a better place to stay.

Persone squisite, stanze arredate con gusto e bagni spaziosi e piacevoli. Un ambiente informale ma raffinato, ottimo per un soggiorno a Ferrara. Una sosta piacevole a prezzi competitivi. Vivamente consigliato!

We had a nice week at the Azienda which is located centrally and a perfect point for journeys to the major Cities. Nice and clean rooms and also good breakfast ... especially the chocolate-cake! ;-) Also very friendly hosts - definitively a point to revisit in the future!

Very very nice place. A very countryside place where you can really relax. The agritourism is new and delicately furnished. Good breakfast with home made cakes and marmalades. Friendly and gracious welcoming.

An excellent and special place, friendly people, nice surroundings. A good point to stay, to travel around, and to start a route along the Po river. Highly recommended!
