We didn't stay in the main area,we had a separate self-contained fully-equipped apartment a few minutes drive away. Views were great, the rooms were huge, it was lovely and clean and private. In fact we're sure to come back here and would recommend it to everyone. Its in such a lovely rural location, but leaves the big towns and sights of Tuscany accessible. Plus Carla was absolutely great :)

Excellent and friendly staff (Carla), who provided knowlegde and advise about the surrounding community - in terms of things to do/see. A very positive experience! I would reccommend this place.

Room Details
Both suite rooms and apartments are available to suit your needs. Guests can choose between the accommodation located in the small village (in the main building of the farm) or in one of the other farm houses, situated around 800 meters from the village.
Suite rooms offer air conditioning and heating, as well as daily housekeeping and fresh linens every 3 days.
The apartments are fully equipped and include a kitchen, in order to ensure a comfortable and independent stay in this haven of peace. They can accommodate 2 to 6 people and have 1 to 3 bedrooms. The 3-bedroom apartment, ideal for families or groups, also has 2 bathrooms. Individually-controlled heating and daily housekeeping are available for a fee in the apartments.
All 18 accommodations feature an entrance, an outside space with table and chairs, digital TV, a private bathroom, and free outdoor parking. Complimentary cribs (infant beds) and rollaway beds are available upon request.

How to reach Tenuta Di Mensanello Farm House
By carIf you have a GPS, type Mensanello as the name of the village. Coordinates are N: 43° 22. 873 S: 11° 07. 101. From the A1 highway exit at Val di Chiana. Take the Firenze-Siena highway, direction Siena, and exit at Colle Val d'Elsa Sud (south). Follow the signs to Grosseto (SS541) for around 15 km. Eventually you will reach a small bridge (Ponte Giulia) where the road forks, keep right and cross the bridge. Right after the bridge, turn right following signs for Mensanello which is approximately 1 km from the main road.When you pass a 3 story square building (Hotel Sabolini) on your left, the street narrows; turn left and you will see a small church on your right. The farm is on the left, just before the church. Go through the iron gates and reception is on the right, behind the gate pillar.
By train
From the Poggibonsi railway station, take the Siena-Firenze bus to Colle Val d'Elsa. The bus stop is 5 km from the property.
By airplane
Florence airport is about 50 km from the property. Take the airport bus to Florence central station and then the Siena-Firenze bus to Colle Val d'Elsa.
Pisa airport is about 90 km away. Take the train to Poggibonsi and continue by bus.
