Farm House Podere Benintendi - Certaldo

Absolutely satisfied with the 4 nights spent there - although the booked room was not available, but got an _apartment_ instead, for same price, excellent caring of guests! Friendly and welcoming staff, amazing view (doesn't matter which room you take, 360 degrees beautiful Tuscany :-)). In addition to the outdoor swimming pool, fireplaces and gym they even have a little wine-shop in house (reasonable prices, not like a minibar or so), even driver can have a little 'Chianti' in the evening. Whoever goest to Tuscany, either to have tours to the cities each day or just to stay in one place - in both cases this is an excellent location to book your room at! Of course even the breakfast-terrace has a view of the beatiful countryside. When back to Tuscany, we'll definitely go for this accomodation again!

On our walking trip, with back packs, we arrived here from Certaldo train station. It was probably the most stunning location we stayed in. 360 degree panoramic views. The Signora cooked us up some delicious home made pasta which we ate with a bottle of wine and watched the sun sink over the mountains. She has a lovely place, quiet and secluded. Perfect if you have a car or like us were happy to take your time.

The location of the Villa is great - located near Certaldo in Tuscany. Amazing views of the hills and fields of the surrounding area. Great public areas to stroll along. Room size was fine, while the amenities where a bit sparse. No extra pillows or blankets to be found as in similar places we stayed. Breakfast was good, but not amazing. Staff was pleasant enough, but did not seem to go out of their way to be friendly. Again, not bad, but not as great as similar places that we stayed. Overall, our visit was fine, and decent for the money, but I think there are better places to be found.

We in our mid thirties and used this as a base to explore Tuscany. It was the best part of our trip to Italy. You have to have one of the home cooked meals, it was a real treat. Would we go back? YES. UAE (ex S.Africa)

Hi, I have to say this is the BEST accomodation where I ever stayed in Italy. The surrounding is amazing and the haus is also beautyfull. We spent here 8 very good days. The place is ideal if you want relaxing. You dont have to do else, just laying next to the swimingpool and look around... Certaldo is also nice. The old city on the top is very sharmfull. And if you want to eat something special, dont go into restaurant, just ask the staff to cook for you!!!

Nous avons passé 5 merveilleuses journées dans un décor très représentatif de la Toscane que nous contemplions avec plaisir à tous les soirs. La piscine était très rafraichissante après une journée à découvrir la région par des température de 35 et plus. La possibilité de se procurer de l'eau, de la bière ou du vin sur place à prix raisonnable a été grandement apprécié. La connexion Internet est gratuite. Un endroit de rêve que nous espérons pouvoir revisiter. Nous recommandons sans hésiter cet endroit.

This place was perfect - beautiful, welcoming, comfortable, great staff, great food, wonderful location. Amazing bargain. The nearby walled city of Certaldo Alto isn't on the tourist map but it was beautiful. STAY HERE!!!!

This was our favorite place during our recent trip. So charming and great value for money. Staff great and the night we had dinner prepared, it was outstanding. Loved the cute little "house kitty" that would come to visit us.

A highlight of our trip. The owners are terrific and the property is beautiful. We had dinner cooked by Sylvia 2 nights and went to Alto Certaldo once. We wished we had all three in the B&B. The food was fabulous, fresh, simple, and tuscany. Great value for your money.

Our first visit to Podere Benintendi. We had a Bed and Breakfast room, which had lovely views over the countryside in Tuscanny.

The beautyof this place annot be described. Rolling green hills everywhere. You do need a car to get here but that is half the fun. It is only about 20 minutes from San Giamianno (spelling?) which is a great wall town to visit. the rooms were very clean and sitting outside was extremely peaceful and beautiful. This was a great value for the money. Highly reccommend.

This was the best booking of our entire 3-week trip. I'd recommend it to anyone, but especially those with cars. Our host aimed to please, and her meals were absolutely magnificent. If you book this bed and breakfast, I urge you to eat dinner there.
