Inn Dievole - Vagliagli, Castelnuovo Berardenga

We were only able to stay one night on our way to Florence but the four of us fell in love with Dievole and will be back. The surroundings, atmosphere, friendliness of staff and other patrons, the wine all lead to a wonderful stay. Our evening meal was not bad but could have been better and we would have loved a fan in the room at night. We will be back!

This is a gem of a property close to Siena. The studio room was surprisingly spacious with self containted amenities. The service and staff were absolutely fantastic. The restaurant has a contempory, warm ambience with large black and white photos on the walls capturing the character of mens faces, complete with a twisted vineyard chandelier suspended over the dining table. Gardens are gorgeous and well maintained. Views to die for. Very very relaxing and chilled break. Would I recommend - Without hesitation YES!

If I never go to a destination other than the Dievole I wouldn't mind a bit. Tuscany is everything I'd ever dreamed or imagined it would be. Vagliagi, while difficult to find, is well worth the effort involved.

Stayed at Dievole one night, during on our honeymoon trip to Italy and Toscana. Buity Farm Home, magnificant sourroundigs, good food and wine, but maybe a little expensive?

Dievole is wonderful !!!!!! I have stayed there 2 times, will return again ! If you go there dont miss the "Dinner between the Barrells" it is a lot of fun w/ great food , and some great wine. I think it is on Wednesday night only and you have to make a reservation. Breakfast is wonderful, outside in the garden w/ very nice views. Great atmosphere....very relaxing. It is a very beautiful, quiet, and romantic ! also perfect for day trips to medival towns.. This is a must !!!!!!

Cadre superbe dans les vignes du chianti, à 20 minutes de Sienne. L'hotel a deux piscines, un restaurant (non essayé). Une dégustation des vins du domaine est comprise dans le séjour. Ils sont néanmoins un peu cher par rapport à d'autres domaines voisins (qui poussent un peu moins sur le marketing!). Les chambres sont propres et spacieuses, la cuisine nickel et avec beaucoup d'ustensiles. Nous avions pris une chambre dans la "casa Olive" (Cf site web). Elles sont bruyantes et mal insonorisées. Je ne sais pas ce qu'il en est des autres logements. Le personnel mériterait à être plus aimable et acuueillant. Néanmoins, le cadre magnifique et le petit déjeuner gargantuesque nous ont permis de garder un très bon souvenir de notre passage à Dievole
