La Foresta is a large stone farmhouse converted to provide five self contained apartments, four within the house and also a cottage 40 m. from the house. The swimming pool is shared. The apartments are furnished with a typical rustic charm and have been recently renovated.Parking place in comun
You can go for walks in the country or visit all the beautiful places around S.Leonino, like Castellina in Chianti, Radda in Chianti, Gaiole in Chianti, Monteriggioni, Colle val d'Elsa, the Chianti Castles area and, of course, Siena and S.Gimignano. We produce and sell our own wine and olive-oil.

Kitchen with dining table and chairs, refrigerator, gas cooker, 4 rings, 2 sinks. 2 double bedrooms each with double bed. 1 double bedroom with twin single beds. Large bathroom with bad, bidet, wash-basin, w.c. Large ground floor terrace with dining table, chairs and umbrella.
Foresta 3: 27 sq. m. On two levels, entrance ground floor. Sleeps 2. Living room. Kitchen corner with refrigerator, gas cooker, sink. Shower room with wash-basin, bidet, w.c. Bedroom with double bed on first floor loft. Outside table, chairs and umbrella.

Foresta 4: 50 sq. m. Ground floor. Sleeps 4. Living room with kitchen corner. Bathroom with shower wash-basin and w.c. 1 double bedroom with double bed. 1 double bedroom with twin beds. Terrace with table, chairs and umbrella. Recently renovated with typical Tuscan furniture.
Foresta 5: 65 sq. m. Sleeps 3. Situated 40 meters from the main house on two levels with independent entrance. Ground floor living/dining room with kitchen corner. Bathroom with shower wash-basin and w.c. Stairs to open spaced loft with as bed leading to a double bedroom with double bed. Second bathroom with shower, wash-basin and w.c. Covered terrace with tables and chairs.

How to reach Farmhouse La Foresta

By car
From north:


Autostrada A1. Exit at Florence Certosa and join the Florence-Siena Superstrada towards Siena. Exit at Badesse and at the end of the exit turn left towards Badesse. At the second 'stop' turn right, now following directions for Lornano. Drive through Lornano and after 5 Km. you will be in S.Leonino. Once in S.Leonino. at the little church, turn right onto a little track. Continue for about 200 mts to the 2 'country houses' (one in front of the other), then for a further 400 mts, always keeping the left. This will bring you to La Foresta, the country house on the left. The owner will wait for you there.



From south:

Join the Raccordo anulare (ring-road) following signs for the Autostrada A1 northbound towards Florence-Milan. Exit Valdichiana and follow signs to Siena. Before arriving in Siena follow direction Florence-Grosseto and then Florence. Exit Badesse. After the stop turn left for Lornano-S.Leonino. Drive through Lornano and after 5 Km. you will be in S.Leonino. Once in S.Leonino. at the little church, turn right onto a little track. Continue for about 200 mts to the 2 'country houses' (one in front of the other), then for a further 400 mts, always keeping the left. This will bring you to La Foresta, the country house on the left. The owner will wait for you there.
