Inn Borgo di Pietrafitta Relais - Castellina in Chianti

Our stay at Borgo di Pietrafitta was the highlight of our 3 week trip to Italy and Switzerland. Our apartment was perfect (Pera 1); cozy, quiet, and with beautiful views of the countryside. We were literally surrounded by birds, butterflies, deer, herbs, and grapes! The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We hope to return and will be recommending this place to our friends and coworkers.

I couldn't say enough about our stay here. It was the perfect Tuscan getaway. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were fantastic. Ours had a little loft in the bedroom with a spiral staircase and a fireplace in the living room. Our views were perfect. Borgo di Pietrafitta Relais was centrally located to several little towns and only a short distance to San Gimignano and Siena.

This place is beyond beautiful! A Tuscan dream.. I only wish we skipped Rome and stayed here the whole time!! The staff was so welcoming and friendly. I would absolutely come back and have already reccomended this to all my friends. As said in another comment..stop looking and book NOW!!!

This place is magical! After 7 hetic days of touring south of Siena our R&R at the Borgo was fantastic. Breathtaking views,your own garden patio for al fresco dining. Lovely LR with fireplace, great kitchen, oversized BR and Bath. Immaculate! Easy drive to Radda, Castellina, etc. Can't wait to return!

We had a lovely stay at Borgo di Pietrafitta. The surroundings and views were outstanding, the pool was beautiful and refreshing. Our apartment was spotless, spacious, and inviting. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Tuscany. It was also centrally located which enabled us to visit many Tuscan Hill towns.

Our stay in Borgo di Petraffita in Relais was beautiful. The accommodation, service and location were perfect. We stayed as a family of 4 with 2 young children and we had ample space for the children to play as well as visit the farm animals on frequnet occasions. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this glorious location. A great renovation and establishmeny!

We *LOVED* Borgo di Pietrafitta. Stay there. Seriously, stop looking, and book it right now. The views of the surrounding Tuscan hills were spectacular. The nearby town of Castellina in Chianti (4km) was adorable and had the best gelato we had in Italy (and, trust me, we ate a LOT of gelato). Also, we ate at Tre Porte restaurant in Castellina was another great recommendation where we had one of our best meals in Italy. The Pietrafitta restaurant at the bottom of the hill was delicious and quaint. Roberto and Lorenzo provided us with tons of advice, restaurant recommendations and reservations, and directions for each town we visited during the day. Lorenzo recommended a wine tasting at Poggio Antinora on our last day, which was awesome! They were so helpful, and all of their recommendations were great!! The grounds and infinity pool were stunning. We stayed at the Borgo di Pietrafitta for 3 nights (4 days), and we wished we had booked it for longer. The apartments are built in old stone buildings from hundreds of years ago that were made into resort apartments in the 90s. Our apartment had a huge bedroom with a super comfy king size bed, desk, and armoire; a large bathroom with spotless shower. sink, toilet, bidet, washing machine, plenty of plush towels and a stunning view out the window; a modern kitchen with fridge, stove, sink, oven, cabinets (stocked with dishware, silverware, kitchen linens, and cookware), a dining table, and large stone fireplace; and an upstairs living room with pull out couch and tv. The apartment was spotlessly clean and was the perfect mix of rustic charm and modern amenities. If we ever go back to Italy, we will stay here and do day trips everywhere else. It was heaven.

The farm house in Pietrafitta is located in the heart of Chianti. The surrounding hills and old towns are beautiful to see and visit. The farm house itself has been recently renovated and the accomodations were modern, charming and clean. Our room had a spectacular view over the pool and hills. The manager, Luigi, is extremely courteous and helpful. He provided numerous suggestions for sightseeing and dining. This was one of our favourite places we visited in our trip to Italy. We would return to the farm home Borgo di Pietrafitta in a heartbeat!

Everything was perfect. We extended our stay at Pietrafitta and we really enjoyed. Thank you very much Luigi

Best place we stayed in Italy. Luigi was exceptional. He's a real genuine person who goes out of his way to make you feel at home. Excellent hospitallity! We didn't want to leave as we loved our room, Luigi, and Chianti!

La struttura è molto confortevole, la cura e la pulizia degli arredi sono ottime. Gli appartamenti sono distribuiti in un piccolo borgo in una posizione molto tranquilla, e offre un panorama molto naturale. A tutto ciò si aggiunga una accoglienza gentilissma da parte di Luigi, il simpaticissimo gestore. Non appena ripasso da quella zona non avrò dubbi...prenoterò di nuovo!!

This place was amazing - so romantic and relaxing. This is exactly what you hope your dream Tuscany vacation spot looks like. Amazing views, amazing place - you can't go wrong!

We had a wonderful stay in Borgo di Pietra Fitta. The apartment was very spacious and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. the surroundings are typically tuscan. We plan to go again.
