The location is excellent, especially if you like to walk. Within walking distance of the Museums, Navy Pier, Taste of Chicago, Magnicient Mile, and many other attractions. Staff is very friendly. Concierge very helpful in assisting with restaurants and directions. Don't forget to check out other services (SPA)in the hotel and the gift shop. Reasonable. Post Office and restaurants in the AON Center accessible on lower level. Pricey but worth the cost and affordable if sharing with a friend. Check for additional costs from Visa or MasterCard if booking through a booking company. Some booking companies (like Venere) use an overseas bank and visa charges the customer. Overall, the Fairmont is an excellent choice.
