El hotel muy bonito pero las piezas muy pequeñas, el desayuno muy bueno y los alrededores buenos y seguros. En general volveria a este hotel y lo recomendaria pero pediria una pieza mas grande.

We had touble with the first four rooms we tried (traffic noise, leaks in the bathroom, wireless problems) but the last room was perfect, though a little small. Location of the hotel is perfect - great bus service in front. Staff always helpful. would stay there again.

The Eurostar International Palace was in the perfect location for us. It was a fifteen minute walk to most of the historical sites or just a short ride on the #64 bus which took you all the way to the Vatican. Only 1Euro to ride the bus which had a stop conveniently outside the lobby doors or across the street. Another plus, the hotel sold bus tickets. The room was small but typical of Rome, the bathroom was very roomy. Even though we were placed on the 1st floor facing a side street, the double windows made for a very quiet room. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. They put on a sumptuous spread in a well designed interior room.

We loved our stay here, great quality at a great price. If you come into the train station, the hotel is about one half mile walk which is okay if your luggage has wheels. We had breakfast a couple of blocks away, towards Republique, on a side street, it was great, and affordable.

You can simply walk to everywhere, but if you don't like to walk, only 3 min. walk to metro station, or take the buses that stops just in front of the hotel, and you can reach anywhere you want.

Clean rooms with really good bathroom. The front staff were pleasant but not always very helpful. Free internet access on the 2 terminals in the lobby was helpful. The location is very good. Walking distance to most major attractions and subway is a 5 minute walk. Lots of shopping just at your doorstep. There's a grocery store across the street which is very convenient. Good quality for the money.

Excellent relationship between price and quality compared to other hotels in the area. Clean, simple rooms with usual amenities (shampoo, hair dryer, etc). A few steps away from the hotel are a couple of fairly decent leather stores that seemed reasonably priced for Rome - and especially compared to all the inflated prices on goods around the Spanish Steps. Sales staff, obviously on commission, are pushy though so you have to stand your ground with them.

the hotel was very good. the only thing, which was disturbing, was the air conditioning. we expected for that price and category to have the possibility of changing ourselves the temperature.when we arrived the roomed was heated up to 30 degrees.as by now you have still 18 degrees in rome it was a little hot. we found out that there was no possibility to cool down the room, when we asked the room service for help.so finally we had to sleep with open windows. the room service told us,that it was only a heater but not a conditioner for the hotel room. it was a little disapointing.except that everything was very fine as we think anyway it is a higher class degree for a hotel.

Hotel location was ok, walking distance to most sites within 20 mins. Alexndro the front desk manager was the only person who can be recommended..the rest of the staff were not that friendly. The worst point of the Hotel was having only 1 lift serving so many floors and rooms..take ages to wait for the lift to go to out.

We received a wonderful welcome from the hotel and were made to feel at home straightaway. The room was fine and the maid service was exceptional with clean linen provided every day. We would recommend the hotel to anyone. The only slight area of note would be the food from the restaurant in the evenings, it was not 4 star quality, but there are a large number of restaurants locally that are excellent.

Hotelroom was booked more than nine months in advance of our stay. One should think that a booking so much in advance would result in a better room than we received. We got the smallest double room I have ever seen in a hotel at that pricecategory. They also first tried to give us a single room, claiming it was a double. It took a bit of arguing to convince the recepionist that we did not accept a bed 1,2 meters wide for a double bed. The restaurant where breakfast was served was the most noisy I have ever been in. Most items were missing, one had to ask for bread, plates, cups, glasses and so on at every breakfast. Most of the time breakfast was chaos.

Lovely hotel - well placed to see Rome - no need for transport - wear good shoes Rome's cobblestones are sore on the feet - watch out for the old ladies begging on the street you can't see their face but their hands are very young looking. Rome is a fantastic place for visitors look for Italians in nice clothes and go to their cafes and restaurants - Rome is not very expensive and many visitor attractions are free to enter - try the ice cream. International Palace is a great hotel - breakfast is substantial and the staff are very considerate - my only gripe is that a more communal lounge would be an asset - location is excellant

The first room we were assigned (337) was so small that you had to move a chair in order to get from one side of the bed to the bathroom. We changed rooms the next day and the size was much better. The rooms had been newly renovated and they chose to emphasise esthetics over functionality. There are no hooks or shelves or soap dishes in the bathroom, so all your stuff ends up on the floor or in the bidet. The second room had been sabotaged by the previous guest, so the closet doors were standing against the wall, the shower drain was plugged and the bidet faucet was broken. They came and fixed most things, but this was inconvenient. The breakfast was not great, but the front desk staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Very happy with the hotel and room - There was some building/modernising work going on but very little noise or inconvenience. Only minor probs: Breakfast very comprehensive when we got down early - on the day that we got down towards the end of the breakfast window they hadn't bothered to restock most of the food. We had also ordered a taxi the night before to pick us up in the morning to take us to the airport, turned out it hadn't been ordered - however when we got one off the street, it worked out about half the price that their company had quoted... These are minor gripes however, as the room was very cool, and the location of the hotel great - I would definitely stay there again.

Great location; ideal for walking, close to transport/shops etc Impressive entrance but hotel is undergoing renovation - parts (towards rear) of it are closed off Small single-use room, double bed, shower ensuite was very clean, quite new and had the expected facilities including minbar and airconditioning but had practically no natural light. The window looked out onto a small central courtyard(floor 2 of 6) which was a building site with scaffolding going right up to the roof - no view, no light When queried reception offered to look at changing rooms the following day Rooms at the front have plenty of natural light No list of hotel facilites or general local information was available in the room Breakfast was good buffet, plenty of variety, sufficient to sustain one for the day. Very little tourist literature freely available in the hotel- had to ask at desk - Staff were very helpful Overall pleasant stay in a very central location but beware of room offered unless you like the dark - hopefully when building work is completed this will be resolved Hotel is a good 3* tourist hotel very popular with coach tours Would stay again given the right room

i was dissappointed that we had not been informed about the lack of breakfast facilities in the hotel as we could have booked an alternative. I found it very inconvenient that we had to cross a very busy street each morning even when it was raining just to have breakfast. Also the lack of bar facilities after 10 p.m.was not very good. The booking form said that we hadv up to 3 days prior arriving to cancel without loss and if we had been informed before hand we could have found a more suitable hotel. The only other problem was the building work in the hotel which started early every morning. I felt tht there should have been a reduction in the tariff for the rooms because of all the inconvenience and therefore i cannot give a favourable review.

The International Palace is situated on Rue Nationale and is within a short walk of most of the tourist sites and many shops (girls!). The Hotel restaurant was closed during our stay so breakfast was served in a cafe over the road. The breakfast was adequate! The rooms were of an excellent size. We requested rooms at the rear of the hotel, which have no view what so ever, but are very quiet and away from the traffic noise. If you require a transfer to the airport when you leave, make sure that you tell reception which airport you wish to go to. We didn't and were taken to the wrong one, which meant we had a mad dash across Rome in rush hour traffic to make out return flights. Overall an excellent hotel which I woud cetainly visit again and recommend to anyone.

They were remodeling and the noise on our floor, the 6th, was very bad till 5pm Friday, and then it started at 6:15 am Saturday. When we checked in they verifed that the restaurant was open (that was noon, Friday) But 5 hours later it was closed for who knows how long for remodeling. Many of us were shocked that the employees had no knowledge that there would be rennovations that first weekend in June. The male desk clerk on Saturday pm, told upset guests from England, "we cannot help it if remodeling is going on."

The International Palace was comfortable, well located, and meet expectations. At the time, May 2005, they were in renovation off the lobby area. Although there was renovation of public rooms occurring the Hotel was kept very clean and I was not inconvenienced during my stay.

A LOVELY HOTEL IN AN EXCELLENT LOCATION. THE ONLY THING IS, AS IT IS ON A VERY BUSY MAIN ROAD, THERE WAS A LOT OF TRAFFIC NOISE EVEN THROUGH THE NIGHT AND AS WE HAD A ROOM AT THE FRONT OF THE HOTEL, IT DID DISTURB US A LITTLE, ALTHOUGH I WOULDN'T SAY THIS WAS A PROBLEM AND I CERTAINLY WOULDN'T HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT IT. The hotel is in a decent location and the rooms are clean and comfortable, though nothing special. The breakfast is of poor quality, below that of comparable hotels. The concierge service is not particularly helpful--a woman behind the desk would not help me change the time of my train reservation, despite the fact that there was no one else waiting for her or calling. This hotel is not a good value for the money, in my opinion.

This was by far the best hotel we stayed at in Italy. The hotel is half a mile from the metro station. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was small but it was very clean and the bathroom was impeccable. We requested to stay in a room towards the back to eliminate the street noise. The breakfast was great as it had a great selection (including scrambled eggs, ham, cheeses and sausage). It was not the typical Italian breakfast of croissants and capuccino served in other hotels. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.

Our registration was not known at the hotel. So we had to wait for nearly 40 Minutes to got a new room. The romm service does not happened (beds not make, room not cleaned, the breakfast was a terrible combination of a cheap and bad continental breakfast and does not corospondent with the price.

The International Palace is a fine hotel a 10 minute walk from the stazione Termini, and an easy 15 minute walk to the Colosseum. It is on a busy main street, but double windows are provided, so street noise wasn't an issue for me. The neighborhood is a shopping district a la Rodeo Drive (LA) or 5th Avenue (NYC). It is also hotel alley, being so close to the stazione, so if you want to dine with locals, a bit of a walk is necessary. I had a large (for Europe) double room, rather lushly appointed with a very nice bathroom, however there was a slight mildewey smell near the sink, but not offensive. The breakfast was one of the most varied I experienced in Italy, with scrambled eggs, franks and onions, and "bacon" (hey, they tried). Very nice dining room, which is actually a public bar/restaurant for lunch and dinner. The staff were very helpful and efficent and all of them spoke English. Special mention to Andrea, who spoke perfect Aussie English, having spent a large part of his youth there. A few complaints for a four star hotel: there was no internet available in the lobby, although there were dialup ports in the rooms for people with European ISP's. I actually stayed there twice, and the first time got a rate of 96 Euros which I was happy with, but on returning later in November, the rate shot up to 136 which I thought was pricey . A niggling point, in both rooms, the TV reception was horrible, with static on many stations clear at other hotels. We ended up leaving and found the Romae on the other side (North) of the stazione which had bigger double rooms (huge for Europe) and free internet in the lobby for almost a *third* of the price of the International Palace. *That* was a bargain.

I was really upset about the temperature control in the bathroom. The window closures are very poor and they are the only items not to be renewed in the room. That is a pity for an hotel that claims to be a 4 stars hotel.
