A excellent hotel with a fantastic breakfast. If you can get a good deal on Venere.com it is well worth paying a little extra to stay at Hotel Maximillian, which must be the best hotel in Regensburg.

Very helpful staff. The room was very nice but a little too warm. Being on the top floor I think the heat of the day would seep through the roof. Needed to leave the window open to cool down. Regensburg is a beautiful city.

This was our first visit to the medieval town of Regensburg. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the hotel which was in an excellent location and beautifully appointed.Unfortunately the weather, and the Christmas Markets in the town, were poor.

Third bed was a roll steering wheel (without the 4-wheel) and my son, 14 years old,was not possible to sleep. He slept in my bed!

The hotel lived up to our expectations. It is very convenient for the railway station and for walking into the old town. The room was spacious, bright, and modern. Breakfast in the ballroom was a highlight.

The description said that wireless Internet access was available, but it turns out the hotel charges 22 euro per day for it!

Staff excellent but hotel covered in scaffold as under repair, also awoken at 4.00am by crowds of noisey drunks leaving bar under hotel.

Very easy to find if coming by train. The minibar has some extra space to store your own goods if you are carrying something which needs refrigeration. Would absolutely stay there again.

Room was little noisy during night,because In front of room was Macdonaldo,but I think this hotel is good and wish to stay again,if I have a chance.

By carFrom Munich or Nuremberg: take motorway A93 in direction of Regensburg-Weiden, exit at Königswiesen and drive towards Zentrum West/Hauptbahnhof. In front of the train station turn left into Maximilianstraße. The first house on the left side, after the second crossing (opposite the pharmacy) is the hotel.
