Hotel Eurostars Thalia - Prague

I was on vacation with my best friend. The rooms were very clean, wish they were closer to the stare mesto but it was only a 10 minute walk away. The breakfast buffet in the morning was great. (cereal, eggs, sausage, pancakes, fruit, yogurt, etc). Overall great stay.

The brekfast was very good and rich. We stayed there 4 night

In the old town and near the tramway and subway. room very confortable and quiet

We booked a car to take us to the hotel but it took us to the wrong one (same chain). Once we sorted it out with reception we had to book two taxis to take us 5 minutes down the road. After this initial hiccup, everything was fine. Location was good, reception very helpful.

I ended up upgrading myself for an additional charge. The room I had reserved through yourselves was so-so. The location of the hotel was pretty good. But in general, there is literally no atmosphere at this hotel and it really seems far from the 5-star rating you advertised.

I was in Praga for the first time. I needed an hotel in the surroundings of the old city. Eurostars Thalia is placed at five minutes' walk from Charles Bridge and the center of "Stare Mesto", Old Town square. I particularly appreciated the kindness of the staff, the cleanliness of the room and good breakfast. Easy access to urban means of transport: you can catch bus and tram almost in front of the hotel door, while subway station is 150 meters far.

Would recommend to anyone. Great hotel

Hotel is very newly renovated and looks great. Rooms are very clean, comfortable and quiet. 1 block to river, 2 blocks to old town, 4-5 blocks from Wenceslas square.

We had a very pleasant stay in Hotel Thalia and Prague, which we have visited many times. Hotel Thalia is perfect situated for all sorts of excursions by tram, metro, bus or on foot. Kind and helpful staff, delicious breakfast-table, exellent room. Very suitable for a love-trip to Prauge. Mr. and Mrs Thomas and Monica Thomasson from Simrishamn, Sweden.

Not really a 5 star, but excellent relationship between price/quality.

We arrived in Prague late on the Friday evening (10.30pm) The entrance and the reception of the hotel certainly is very impressive looking. We found our room very quickly and were very impressed with the overall fixtures and fittings (slightly disappointed that we had no bath in our room but we had the best shower ever with pressure jets) After quickly unpacking we decided to head out and try and get some bearings.. unfortunately there was no maps in the hotel to help us so we had to go at it alone. My compalints with the hotel would be the poor breakfast that is on offer, it really does cater more to the europeans than the british. My partner was more than happy with what was on offer. Our room was at the back of the hotel and on the first night I got very little sleep due to the noise outside (we were on the 3 floor) all the windows are double glazed but as all the building are very close together and also very high there seems no where for the noices from the street to go.. The bed was the hardest bed I ever slept in... Overall i dont think this hotel really should be rated at 5 star hotel, yes it is a lovely hotel but then again is does not offer any 5 star services.

This hotel is an absolute recommendation for those who like to stay in the centre of Prague, in a excellent hotel for a more than reasonable price .... One tip: if you order breakfast in your room, just order 1 for two persons .... The breakfast is absolute fresh and good quality, but simply to much for 1 person !!!

Excellent position, you can actually walk everywhere. Not really a 5 stars hotel (as the price suggests). The service was sometimes "weird": they used to clean the room while you were having breakfast (so that you were forced to wait for them to finish...) or very late (in the afternoon). When asking the staff to call us a taxi to the airport they accepted only to provide the hotel service (700 crowns instead of 500). Quite annoying. But the position of the hotel really it's worth the choice.
