Hotel Eurostars Das Letras - Lisbon

Although the hotel was immaculate, the rooms slick and comfortable, the breakfast beautiful it was the hotel staff that were the best. Located just one stop out of the centre travel was easy with the bus and train stops just a couple of minutes away. A really nice hotel that it is difficult to find any significant criticism, perhaps the internet was a little slow at times, but I suffer that at home. We did not use the bar or eat any meal other than the breakfast which was very well supplied with a range of fresh fruits, hams, breads cereals, bacon, eggs etc . which was all quality fresh produce. They even had my favourite earl grey tea. If you book this hotel as we did with a deal including the breakfast it is a real bargain as at 18 euros a go it could be an unexpected extra on the bill.

There is no question that this is a nice hotel, clean and VERY competent staff, ESP the breakfast staff--they were unbelievable. BUT this is not a 5 star hotel. I would give it a 4,never 5. Lighting in the rooms is insufficient, could have used more space, and would have preferred drawers to put our clothes. We stayed there 6 nights. Also some rooms (NOT ours) had dark stains from water damage on the floors. It was unsightly and appeared unsanitary. This should be corrected. Otherwise, it was great, and we would stay there again.

My stay in Lisbon was for 10 hours so I wasn't able to enjoy the hotel as I would have if my stay was longer. However, I was impressed with the attention and care delivered by the doorman. He also was kind enough to take my order in the dining room when there was no one in attendance. My room was exceptional,very clean and well appointed. My only complaint was that the soundproofing was poor. I could hear others' conversations from above, in the hall and outside. I would definitely stay there again as I felt very safe in the hotel and the area. Free internet was a bonus.

Top class facility; excellent value & location near metro, or it's an easy walk to old city center. Small markets & restaurants within a couple of blocks. Staff told us the place is only 3 years old---it looks brand new. I highly recommend this hotel, and will look for the Eurostars chain in future travels.

Room and bathroom (with shower and basin) large, confortable and clean. Quiet. Very close to Avenida da Libertade that is the main street of the city. Good choise.

We often stay in Eurostars hotels in Europe because of their constant high quality of service and this hotel also proved it. Located in 15 min by foot from center or just one stop by Metro. Very friendly stuff. Recommend it for sure.

Staff very welcoming and helpful. 15 minutes walk from old town though steeply downhill along poor pavements .. but this is Lisbon. Breakfast expensive in hotel but good cafes within 5 or 10 minutes which are excellent for breakfast. Ask for a high floor looking towards castle ... excellent views across the city.

First time in Lisbon. very nice hotel, near city's center and quiet place !

Really nice hotel in walking distance to the center. Looks very new, stylish outfit of common areas as bar and lobby. Perfect showers ! Try to get a room in higher floors.
